Hmm, fair enough. I guess...

I'm in the UK and we're pretty much nearly a month behind the USA and it hasn't spoilered much of anything. Well, not anything more than... any trailer ever made has.

More importantly, it shows an awesome variety of 'realistic' costumes for various DC characters that'd fit right in with the minis game.

I only commented because there are a few people on Dakka who have been getting into "Arrow" and watching from the first season onwards.

It's just a good habit to have when possible.

Any idea about gameplay? This looks so interesting and I'd like to get fully involved but I'd like more information. I picked up the Heath Ledger Joker and Christian Bale Batman to paint and display. I like the Arkham City style but didn't want to invest unless I was able to learn more. Any gamers out there that have experience with the mechanics?

I haven't tried yet but we've ordered every model we're interested in so I can report soon.

Oh man I'm gettin' misty! Love the ol' classic Batman and the ol' Futura Batmobile!

The game is amazing. Its quickly becoming my go-to game alone with warmahordes and infinity.

The rules are tight and the characters play like how you would imagine them.

My girlfriend loves it as well. and Im getting some success sucking the locals into it as well. The only issue with them is distribution to my flgs so we run out of stock fast and have a rough time with restocks.

The rules are free though so I suggest having a look and decide for yourself :-)

God, those Watchmen characters and that classic Batman are all just too awesome. This is a project I had no idea I was interested in, I've got some backlog to go over!

While I really like Knight Models, these releases weren't that appealing for me. The Thing, one of my favorite Marvel characters looked kinda meh, unfortunately. :/

Adam West! I hope a Burt Ward Robin is in the works too!

All of the 60's characters and villains would be pretty neat. POW! BAP! ZING!

I am liking the way this game looks. The models stand out.

I would like to know how the game works. Are the factions balanced?

When I was looking at the cards it looked like you can not field the Gothem Sirens (Catwoman, Harley, and Ivy). pity.

The factions are quite balanced with what Ive played. guns are really powerful however, but are mitigated by terrain pretty well. and the absence of light on the table.

Also despite not being able to field the gotham sirens legally, you could always house rule it for fun. im sure it would still be balanced

Factions- and the game as a whole are probably the most balanced mini game Ive played- joker is a little skewed, and some factions are more "beginner friendly" tho

Sirens CAN be run- Ivy runs as leader- Harley has "affinity" so she can join, and catwoman is a free agent- so she can join- in a standard 300rep list, you can run them, some plants- and maybe a few goons- a fluffy, and actually very solid list.

(after years of lurking, i made an account just to correct this- I love BMG and want to spread info as much as possible)

With terrain being a big factor to mitigate the use of firearms in the game how are people going about getting terrain?

Are there manufacturers out there for 32/35mm stuff or are people just building their own Gotham City streets and alley ways?

I'd like to know how involved I need to be to decide whether Batman and Joker are gamed with or if they go on the collector's shelf with my other collectible paraphernalia.

Normal 28mm terrain works fine with the game. Id suggest 2 companies in particular. Sarrissa terrain from the UK is fantastic. as well as Impudent Mortal in the US.

On a side note Walt from Impudent Mortal is finishing up a commissioned Batman table and will be using the designs in an upcoming kickstarter. Mdf terrain

That's the newest thing he's done for terrain, There's subsequent links at the start of each thread to a previous buildings as well. I particularly like the cracked glass he's doing for the windows out of acrylic.

He's working on shipping out all the orders from his previous kickstarter that finished at the end of last month so I'm guessing the KS for this will likely be in a month or 2ish
