Subject: Wargame Exclusive-female models and gothic cars
Yeah, +1 here. Only own one model but it's as good a cast as I've seen from anyone, and I've got models from all sorts of companies.

I have four of their cars, and about ten of their miniatures. Crisp castings, the resin is perfect- not brittle at all. The detail is typically VERY prominent on their stuff. You may come across print lines here and there though- nothing intrusive. I have minis from at least ten third party resin makers and Wargames Exclusive are easily in the top three for quality.
Honestly, I wonder about their casting process and how long their molds last because some have some deep undercuts and the textures on the bases are very rough. They seem to know what they're doing though!

Just to echo all of the above, their resin and their casts that I have received have been excellent (infantry-sized models in my case). I just wish they'd do more "serious" models for admech, rather than the sometimes-silly female versions, so that I could use more of them!

Adding to the reverb effect - we have several of the vehicles, and one nekkid Tau sniper, posing with her gun.
All the castings are excellent, clean, with no slippage.
The Auld Grump - that Tau sniper was the first 'for fun' miniature that my wife has ever painted. It made her laugh.

Gotta fight the reverb a little - I've painted several cars and two of them had a weird 3 D printing texture I wasn't fond of in the resin. I haven't worked with a lot of resin though, so I wouldn't put too much weight in my view. They were fine otherwise.

That crozius is massive and I coulda lived without angel dong but if it's Primaris sized I prefer it to GWs by a long way. If it's in scale with older patterns of marines I think there's loads of similar models. If this IS Primaris sized AND is the start of a full line of those characters, I will be extremely happy.
I think these are the same folks that made my Genetic cult limo, which looks amazing. It's just so TEENY! I wish they did a version that scaled up with a chimera, or the rock grinder. My Genestealers like to RIDE IN STYLE!!

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

Yeah, thats why I always find amusing the "Very busy!" post in all 40k new miniatures that GW puts today. But at the same time I like my Chaplains to be in the "Humble" side of things. To me it fits them better, thats why I like the new primaris one.
Obviously this is just a personal taste in this specific type of Marine. I like my Captains and Masters and SM Heroes to be full of decorative gak
(Plus, I don't like the "halo" helmets, not in Stormcast, not in Sanguinary guard, not in the Vanguard veteran boxes)
EDIT: But as I don't want to be rude with this company that is run by very nice people, I'll say that even if I don't personally like very much the aesthetic of this specific model, from a objetive standpoint it looks like a very solid piece. (I have some Tau sculpts from this company that I use as Fireblades and the quality is out of 5 )

That Chaplain is perfect!! I must have that model. When I first got into 40K I made my own Space Marine Chapter (the guy the introduced me to the game said it is what everyone does). I made a story for a named Chaplain... and this is that guy. Some how you've read my mind. Wow...

Well gak, if that's Primaris sized I'll be having one for sure. Good thing it's Black Templars I'm working on atm, any other chapter and having three Chaplains might be considered excessive

Really? Care to share? I love Chaplains and I can't think of a single stock model that ornate.
Limited edition, but GWS.
Easy to forget about that one, but I'd say it's not even close to being as ornate. Ornate =/= decorations and accoutrements, if you stripped off cloaks, parchment and skulls the WE one definitely trumps the GW one on this score.

Supply and demand. I can't quite recall the convoluted alignment of celestial bodies that needs to occur for you to actually stand a chance of getting hold of one via GW, but it's fair to say that it's far from readily available.
Because, according to me, yes decorations and other crap piled on does = Ornate.
That GW one is buried under a pile of ornate
The Auld Grump

According to common language usage? At least here in the UK.
You'd describe a cathedral as ornate, compared to say a basic house, because of it's arches, spires etc. not the ornamentation/decoration it has (Crucifixes, paintings, stain glass etc.).
Ergo for the models, the armour can be ornate even if it's not covered in decorations. That Terminator Chaplain is, as you say, covered in a bunch o' stuff, but his armour, bar the legs and gorget, is fairly plain.

While I like the sculpting abilities of WE --- the over-detailed/busy nature of the models will keep me from buying them any time soon. They have some nice less-busy kits in some of their other lines, but sometimes too much is just too much.
