Okay, I finally got around to posting pics of my new Carnifexes.  There was a little too much natural light in the pics and some of the detail got lost.  But you should get the general idea.

I used rare earth magnets on the arms and front plates so that they're swappable.  I didn't like the antennae on the enhanced senses heads, so I cut them off and added head plating with green stuff.  The end result is a little more in line with the regular heads, but retains the multiple eyes.

Looks good, but I don't really dig the orange faces- it's just one colour too many in my honest opinion.

Nice! I like what you did with the head. I not too keen on the antenna heads, even less so if I have 3 or 4 of them in the same army, so your idea adds a little variety.

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

I had a similar idea with the enhanced senses head (I was going to cut off the antanae too).

I'm glad to see it works well, and I'll probably steal your idea for the armor plating on the head.

The orange faces work, its the pink bits that stand out too much.  Tone them down a bit and you got a winner.

The painting style is fab. The palette looks like early Jack Kirby or Stan Lee. Makes me think of aliens in primary colored unitards fighting the fantasic four for control of New York. Otherwise I like it.
