"We all have our favored weaponry Shas'O, I have my Shard-Carbine and you have your Pulse Rifle. Both long ranged and very powerful and now we must move, our scanners have detected the Children and they are battling Chaos Mutants and Cultists in a bleak abandoned Mining station where they have begun to nest. We must hurry and capture them before they can increase their intelligence further."

The pilot takes Kais, Atlas, Talon and the others down to the planets surface, ddodgin all fire from the battle between Tau ships and Chaos.

"Shas'O, we are coming in hard, I suggest you brace yourselves!"

The ship shakes and twirls as it speeds towards the Factory, it spins and slams hard into the metal platform at the top of the facility. The turret mounted on the lower area of the ship collapses and breaks of and smashes into the floor, the Dark Eldar and Tau spill out and begin to search for targets and foes.

"Wariors! Move out, and fire to incapacitate," Kais shouts, raising his own rail rifle, and moving towards the entrance that leads down into the dark heart of the facility.

"ARGH!"

Several of the beasts sprint forward in a insane and pointless charge, the Incubi raise their blades in a defensive stance while Tau Fire-Warriors aim for their legs and arms which causes several to fall quickly from pain and others and stunned instantly by the Dark Eldars poisoned darts.

(Shas its not that Reaper makes you fail epically its just I have to use insane firepower to bring these guys down, that one in space was the combination of your railgun shots the overcharge of the lascannon repaters AND the missles. No any one weapon is efficient, although a vortex grenade to the head seems to work.

Ludias Ignores the daemon as the two snipers get into Endgame's seats, Bel'tayn for once occupying the gunners seat rather than the rear guns.

"Alright lets do this"
The lack of military or aviation jargon is Ludias' way of noting how grim the situation is. Soon the fighter jettisons out into the void and aims for the signal of Syraths position as noted by the holo map atlas is showing shas. Ludias had run a quick systems check and used this map to lock onto the daemons position. A quick warp jump and the fighter is hovering over a bluff some 3oo metres from the daemons position, Ludias chuckled to himself, he loved technology. He set the fighter down gently and the two snipers got out. Weapons drawn.

A bolt of pure energy slams into the ground near to Luidias and Bel sending both of them flying, both crash into the snow and rise only to see a massive and vile Syrath floating above them. His wings and flesh had stripped back and now none and red flesh was exposed, only a few scales remained that dotted his bleak bones and rotten flesh. He fires another bolt that slams into the Endgame and Moves forward revealing a massive Staff that twists and turns with dark flames;

"Ah Luidias and Bel, two more that have opposed me and will meet only death and defeat. How should we do this, a single shot for each or slow and painful."

Ludias flicks a switch on his visor and grins watching the daemon plummet out of the air and hit the ground with an ungraceful thud.
'Warp inhibitor, similar to the hood worn by Librarians of the Adeptus astartes, yet this is deisnged to project inhibiting waves. You wont be using any powers against us daemon. I had this specially installed for this very battle not 30 minutes ago"

Syrath chuckles and drops his staff and relases his long flamming claws and snarls at the two Sniper;

"It won't stop me, all I have to do is break is that not true and I won't have much difficulty doing that!"

Syrath leaps into the air amd grabs Bel before slamming him to the hull of The Endgame and screams at Luidias with such power that the glass of his helms eyes cracks, Syrath slams his foot down and grabs the sniper by the neck and brings Luidias to his face;

"Goodbye Storm, it was fun."

Syrath tares the warp inhibitor and takes a few steps back as it explodes, and Syrath returns his attention to Luidias......

Um... by my reckoning that should stop him from being able to A: fly because his wings wouldnt be able to support him, B: scream like that because it isnt physically possible without the support of warp magics and C: should also debilitate his natural strength because he himself is made of the warp...

Regardless

Ludias raises himeslf up and before the daemon can get to the inhibitor he slices the Daemons fingers off neatly with his sword.
"Not bloody likely daemon, You know Im too fast for that. His hadn comes around and hacks into the daemons foot which is however taken out of range by the daemons retreating leap. Ludias get up and checks on Bel' who despite the Daemons best efforts is barely harmed. Ludias raises his pistol and the warp destabiliser rounds glint in their shells.
"Good bye indeed daemon"
He empties the clip into the daemon but Syraths wings block the shells, tearing them apart but saving the daemon from the brunt of the attack.
"Sword it is then"

Syrath does not stop, he rises his bladed hands and forms the longs blades into a steel shield and strikes rapidly at Luidias with deadly and powerful attacks. Even for Luidias who could generally block such blows he is forced to move back as Syrath's flesh and bone regenerates, Luidais lands a blow in one of Syrath's eyes but the Daemon determined continues.

Ludias lets the claws impale him in the gut and he closes his eyes against the pain allowing his suit to work for him. It flicks his sword around and cuts clean through the daemons wing joints.

"Bel this would be a great time.."

He kicks the daemon backwards and rolls out of the way, holding his left hand across his chest allowing his body to heal the wounds rapidly. He knew that it would only stop the bleeding, the trauma would be irreparable without furthur medical aid. At the moment all he had to do was live for long enough to permanantly scar the daemon some more...

Syrath does not charge but slowly walks towards Luidias as he raises his hand and sends down a bolt of continuious energy that forces the Snipee to dodge the attack, Syrath does not stop but without his wings his speed is severed and he fires another bolt that slams into the ground next to the Sniper.

Dude warp inhibitor, try again

Syrath screw sand grabs Luidas before throwing him against his own ship and places his foot against the Snipers chest and slowly digs his talon into his collar bone and his other talons into his earlier wound;

"Come Luidias!"

Bad pun dude XD

Ludias having dropped his sword screams in pain as the daemons talons dig into his neck he begins to feel faint but fights back taking his combat knife and slamming it deep into the daemons right eye. Syrath shudders slightly and one of his hands falls limp and Lucias is able to push the daemons foot of him. His knife must have hit the daemons brain.

He kicks the daemon in the back of the kness and then picking up his sword goes to decapitate the monster but just as his blade begins its downwards descent Syrath kicks backwards sending Ludias flying, his blood splattering the ground. He hits a broad rock and groans as he feels several bones snap, namely most of his ribcage. He struggles to rise, his sword still clutched in his hand but Syrath wrenches the combat blade out of his eye and appraoches Ludias stamping on his sword and slamming the sniper back to the ground. He kicks Ludias over and plunges the combat blade deep into Ludias's chest cutting deep into a lung and severing his windpipe. Ludias gurgles slightly as the daemon lifts him up by the neck and twists hard.

Ludias sees one last look of contempt from the daemon, his blood flowing freely over the daemons wrist and Ludias' chest. the sniper feebly tries to push the daemon away before everything goes black.

By the way guys my characters are killable, you simply have to make sure they're dead, otherwise they will, repeat WILL do a Marius

Syrath laughs maniacally and brings up his staff and crushes the Anti-Warp device before pointing his staff directly over Luidias's head, a single push severer's the Snipers head from his body and the blood is drank madly by Syrath how throws the dead cadaver aside and smirks at the sight of another foe doomed to die. He then looks at the unconscious ranger Bel, an easy target but he ignores him realising he is still a threat to his power and his transformation is near, he flies off leaving Bel and the Decapitated Luidias alone on the mountain top.

(Quite Bloody I think )

OOC: LUDIAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And, Tyranic, I am sorry but is does seem as if Kais has done nothing epic, yet Ludias and Bel are so important and have done so much...

... just my views, but lets leave it at that...

... oh, and reaper, bloody? You ever played Blood Moon?

IC:

Kais sees one of the children coming at him, and raises his rifle to shoot, but is cut off short as the child slams into him, taking him off his feet, and making him drop his rail rifle.

"Atlas!" he shouts, struggling to get the child off of him, scrambling madly.

The child sees an opening, and moves in, showing his razor sharb talon-like teeth.

Kais for a moment thought that it was over, and closed his eyes to emrace death, when the beast just slumps on his chest, showing a poison dart sticking out of his back.

"You should be more careful, friend!" Atlas shouts, throwing the rail rifle to Kais, who catches it with a chuckle.

"I know, now lets continue our work, and get out of here before one of the Employers shows up!"

"Shas'O Ludiais and Bel's life signs have begun to fade and, wait Luidias's life-signs are...gone. Shas'O Luidias is dead, our scans detect no life signs from his personal HUD."

The Dark Eldar ignore the news and drag the Child back to the ship with the Shas'O in tow.

OOC: Yeah the first for a bit, my character was Sindri

Kais thinks about what was just said as he returns to the Silver Shark.

Ludias was dead, just like Marius, and Mikal, and all the others that he had lost in this terrible war.

But he could still save a life.

"Bel. We have to save Bel."

OOC: Oh? an Aliens RP...I'd be all over that one!

IC: Beltayn comes to...the last thing he remembers being the huge form of Syrath pounding into the landscape next to them and thrashing Beltayn around for a bit before...everything went black...He rubbed his skull, he was dizzy, nauseous, he probably had some form of concussion from the trauma of the beating he'd taken...

And then he saw it...his friend, Ludias Storm's body, lying, bleeding in the virgin white snow...He struggled, grunted...he couldn't get on his feet but he crawled over to where it lay in a puddle of its own red blood. Beltayn was not surprised, he did not deny himself what he saw. He only lamented that he had not seen his friend's final moments of defiance against the daemon. He felt an emptiness that only accompanied his own path as an outcast, forever to be alone in the universe...

He felt an overwhelming boiling in his blood, it called for vengeance, it spoke of pain, and it reeked of fire...

Beltayn said a prayer over his friend's body and took his sword. It took him a few moments to get up but he did so and carried Ludias' limp body onto the prow of the battered Endgame. Ludias flicked a switch in the Endgame's cockpit and took one last look at Ludias' body, taking off his hood and shroud, leaving his head bare.

"If your soul is still here, then look on my face one last time, great hunter and know that my spirit goes with you, Ludias the Lionheart." Beltayn said and took his things and walked away...

Sixty seconds later, the Endagame's arsenal detonated and sent Ludias' body to the void. Beltayn, who was several hundred meters away, Just stood in the snow and ice, feeling nothing but loss, and numbly flicked his transmitter on so that his employer could find him.

OOC: Excellent, I'll get a discussion thread up...

OOC: The Xenomorphs? I shall join. And I see you and Shas you need to rally the troops and find Bel

Bel sits on the side of the cliff top, the flames still burning behind him but a sudden wave of psychic energy alerts him to the arriving Farseer and a Incubus who follows along searching for any approaching foes;

"We came as soon as we heard, I'm so sorry but he gave his life to save you, his memory will live on."

Beltayn looks up at the Farseer and the Dark Eldar warrior, his gaze turns into a scowl and forms from that into a glare. His hands clench into fists and tremble.

"You're sorry? You're sorry? What would one who has fallen so low know about me? Or about what I have been through?!" He shouts at the Farseer."You and your kind, it makes me sick to have to work with such..." He begins before trailing off and falling to his bottom, he just sits there, his head hanging, he feels tears well up in his eyes, such grief was an emotion he was not accustomed to.

"He's gone, he was my only friend I'd ever had and now he's gone, there's nothing left for me."

OOC: I might just pop the thread up, and then work on the fluff...

IC:

"That is what I thought, when my only two friends in the world were taken from me. One, by Chaos, and the other, by death at the hands of the one he had loved," Kais said sorrowfully resting his hand on Bel's shoulder. "I will not try to condone you, or even comfort you, or tell you that everything will be alright. But it will pass, for thier our more Daemons to fight. And I need to ask," he paused for a second, walking around, and holding out his hand. "Are you with me?"

"And what if Syrath had turned on you? What would you do if Syrath left Luidias to die bleeding and left you dead, how would of he coped? Syrath's dark seance of humor makes him foolish and arrogant, Syrath did not destroy Luidias soul and spirit. He consumed his blood, he is now weakened since his mind remains in Syrath's mind and body, if we can raise it Syrath will be caught in the one conflict in which he has no advantage"
