I'm pushing things a bit fine this month, hopefully I'll polish of the remaining 15mm minis tonight and post photos tomorrow.

EDIT: Woo done, I'll let everything dry completely overnight and post a photo tomorrow.

Well not my best showing, but here's June's entry of mine. 31 figs from ZBP

July will continue the rotting green painting, as will most of the July through December for me.

I did buy way more this month than I painted.....actually I bought more today than I painted

I snatched up 2 boxes of angry zombies from Miniaturemarket.com (their brick and mortar store), which were on clearance for $12.50 per box. So 48 new models for $25, but I got a $5 gift card to an ice cream shop out of the deal . I might start scratch building a prison for these zombies and the police guards to be in, but I also need to rebuild a gaming table. So for the foreseeable future there are only zombies and sawdust .

Zombies and DQ? That's quite a deal. Nice work on the ZBP stuff.

Here's my final June entry-- Deadzone Forge Guard.

And all of my completed models for June:

More here.

Now showing Catachan Jungle Fighters and World War zombies!

Painting total as of 30th November 2025: 136 plus a Deva King statue

Painting total as of 12/31/2024: 107 plus a set of modular spaceship terrain and two walkers and a quad mech and five giants

I managed to finally complete the two crew of Mantic's Balefire Catapult, which combined with the previously-painted Catapult results in another finally completed unit.

That's pretty much it. It has made for a good, strong finish to the final month of the painting challenge for the undead. Especially so, considering I had the painting doldrums and didn't finish anything at all until almost three weeks in. I also finished something for Gondor in the wee hours, so that's got the varnish drying outside, and I hope to have it flocked, etc and photographed tomorrow or the day after.

June's "Tale of Gamers" Undead painting contingent. I'll get some "6-months worth of Undead" and "6 months worth of Gondor" posts up soon, and then follow them with a few "Army Showcase so far." posts for my various army projects. Should be a bit of fun, or at least keep me interested for a little while...

Ok as promised, here's 24 15mm scale Seven Years War era grenadiers and their officers for my still unnamed Germanic imagi-nation.

It was a lot of effort for me to get back into painting 15mm scale stuff and painting so many minis in one month. Worth it though in my opinion, I'm really happy with how they've turned out even if the paint job is just base colours plus a brown wash.

I don't think I can throw together a post of everything I've painted because some things have been put in storage.

Now I can take a short break, build a model or two, and then on to Deep Wars and Infinity.

My final model for the first 6-month Tale of Painters challenge, a second Gondor Battlecry Trebuchet for the collection. In an obverse situation to the Balefire Catapult, the crew were painted ages ago, alongside some batch or another of Warriors of Minas Tirith, while the Trebuchet itself languished for at least a year.

I'll add in my own showcase pics of I managed to paint within the 6-months soon, and do the OP with June and others' showcases at around the same time.

When I get home in a few days, I'll photograph the Enforcers I had finished in June before I left as well as a showcase of all the stuff I finished. I put in my time too dammit!

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

This has been a great help with me personally getting stuff done. Hope to see everyone continue on for the next 6 months . Lots of great armies and gangs building up here. Plus it's sparked my interest in quite a few new areas.

Just a FYI for the participants here. I'm going through and updating the OP with June photos, bit by bit (after half an hour or so my eyes glaze over). Working backwards from the last post.

I'll go through again and do the "6-month showcase" after I finish with June.

Jan - I think I must have missed your update for May. Could you point me to it again when you have a chance?

I've done another pass on updating the OP for just under an hour. I know I've still missed/can't find some people's June posts (Grim, Jan, plus more) and some others' showcase pics. Some people have forgotten/not had time to to add their June pics as well.

Feel absolutely free to poke me with a post here with a link to what I missed.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Oh, and Silent Puffin - could you please do a smaller pic of just your June entries so I can replace the big ones I've stuck into the Op for now. Thanks!

Well done to those who got their models done in time.... I took a bit too long. Over 18 months too long. Life got in the way! But I have finally completed the models from Age of SIgmar...

That's' a great looking pair of forces you've put together there, John. Congratulations both on finishing them and the high quality you've achieved across the board!
