These minis will pretty much decide whether or not I'm a backer of any more CMON Kickstarters!

I would still consider backing CMON KSers, just not any that are minis based.

Game like zombicide is a board game that ha niffy minis with it. It wasn't marketed or treated like a "miniatures game" like 40k, Infinity, Dark Age, Anima, etc. Minis are not a focal point. Where as a like sedition wars was marketed with quality models and was a focal point in their pitch. Yes, it was packaged like a board game, but was sold as high quality minis first and foremost and was emphasized on the kickstarter. I had plans to treat it as part of the "hobby" and not a fun game in a box with friends like zombicide.

If I'm disappointed, I wonder if I can email my box to Chris Kluwe for him to punt?

by the way, did you get your tracking info?

I think CMON would notify everyone if this was to actually start shipping.

I thought the cargo had been dropped off in customs in LA, last I checked.

You're right though - it is odd that CMON hasn't said "SHIPPING HAS STARTED! YOU'LL HAVE IT BEFORE CHRISTMAS! MAYBE!" yet...

I've been known to be slightly slowed, but it does say what I thought it said.

I ordered 2 starters (squid people and pig people) and the zombicide minis.

looking at the KS comments there are a few people who say they got it but only ordered the zombicide minis? Am I getting two separate packages? If so I will has the sad and be confused as that doesn't seem to be economically sound on behalf of CMON? Just ship it all at once.

Yeah, that "Shipment #1" thing is a bit troublesome.

IF they're sending it out in 'waves' of "Zombicide Stuff" and "Actual WoK Stuff" and what you're getting is jsust the Zombicide stuff?

That will be disappointing.

the comments have folk with actual WoK orders reporting tracking numbers as well as just the zombicide only folk so it seems like everything?

Shipping Update (12/8/14)

Hey guys, Mr. Black here, and I've got some shipping news for you- both good and bad.

For the US

Alright, so we're in a bit of a weird situation here. As those of you who have been tracking the shipping vessel may know, it's been parked outside port for a bit now. For those of you also unaware, the reason for this is there is a massive strike going down in the ports- nautical transport has slowed down to a crawl due to this.

Its frustrating as this is, of course, pushing is further back into delays when the product is literally sitting, blocked, off the coast. W're working to see if there is anything on our end we can do, but since this problem is extended to all ships and cargo out there, there doesn't seem to be much aside from waiting for us to be processed :(

Hopefully we'll be processed and pass through this week. This is an unfortunate update, but we will keep you informed as we get more information.

For the EU

Meanwhile, on the other side of the pond, we've received word from China that they are working hard on packaging everything to be sent to the German hub. We did not receive clear news as to exactly where they are in the process (aside from "well underway") but we're in contact with them as I type this to get a clear definition of where they are. Having dealt with them extensively on other projects, I would assume that they will be ready to ship out soon- but I will leave those specifics for our Production Manager to give me

Per normal, once EU is finished and on the way to Germany China will begin direct shipping Asia and RoW will be handled. So everywhere except the US right now things are on steady track.

We'll update you as soon as get additional information in regards to the US or EU.

so I'm guessing people were getting tracking based on CMON printing off labels in anticipation of stuff arriving, but it looks like that's not going to happen soon, and as 'no essential, non perishable' even after the strike is finished it will probably take an age for them to be landed at the port

well I got my package but only zombicide stuff.

The packaging was horrible, CMON generally has decent packaging but my stat cards look like an army marched over them.

At least CMON has been good as of late with replacing stuff.

A local friend pledged for every WoK model and I was looking forward to seeing them in-person. Guess it will be a bit of a wait yet.

Backers! We've received word from the West Coast. It appears the strike is over and now the grueling backlog of all vessels is being sorted.

We expect to clear customs and be on the rails toward Atlanta this week. Meanwhile word from China is that they're sorting out all their own shipping backlogs as well (again in part due to the setbacks on the west coast). They said they are progressing forward on the EU shipments and will let us know as soon as they get everything cleared out as well, so hopefully we'll have an update there soon.

In the meantime we also have a video to showcase the Gold Foil Cards that were available during the campaign:

The C.A.G.E. (Combat Augmenting Galvanic Engine) is a suit of power armor that turns an ordinary man into a massive fighting machine. Here’s a look at a plastic (PVC and polystyrene) model painted up for our Teknes demo army.

You can just see the face of the operator inside.

The C.A.G.E. is mounted on a 50mm base. Here he is next to a human Lineman and a Union Worker for size comparison. A very useful addition to a Teknes force!

I think the huge left hand really unbalanced the CAGE sculpt. Hopefully there will be significantly more to post about in this thread soon. I am eager to begin cutting all the ridiculous techno garbage off of my Goritsi and start painting.

I haven't noticed, but then I wasn't looking for it and/or could easily have missed it.

Goritsi and Teknes for me, and I'm also now sad I skipped out on Hadross too...

The Shieldbreaker has a 'steampunky' suit, but I think that's about it.

The Frankenstein monster (I forget what he's called) has some of it, too, but more in a Singed from LoL kind of way.

Elizabeth Beckley painted up one of the PVC Shael Han Dragons, too. I'll see if I can pull the picture up and put it here as well. Looks very, very nice.

That's not really a test, as it does not have hard edges (and honestly still looks soft on what it does have, the spines for instance).

The mech is quite nice, though - the sharp-edged polystyrene weapon Really helps!

Well, 5 days ago they said "Asia/RoW: You will be receiving an Update this week." and then posted pictures of shark-men instead. Since it's now Sunday, and they're not Raging Heroes, I don't expect any updates to actually happen "this week"...
