Here is the burna-axe weapon at a closer look, I haven't painted a model in 3 years. I'm happy with how this weapon conversion turned out. What are your thoughts on it?

Oh cool. I was wondering if you'd done that- you just used a Choppa/Big Choppa head with the right 'back' on it and added the Burna bits on! That's a pretty cool idea. Might actually have to steal that myself.

And painting-wise- good job! Nice hazard striping, good clean lines. Better than I usually do.

Three of my best and favorites:

Spoiler:

That one, I'm not sure what to use her gun as in-game, since Vanilla Space Marines can't use autocannons on their infantry.

This one's made from a ton of different kits. The gun mounted on his backpack is made from a stormbolter, part of a searchlight, part of a Space Wolves chainsword, ammo drums from some wrist-mounted boltguns, and the barrels are made from Scout Biker grenade launchers.

This one still doesn't have a head, because I ran out of wolf helms, didn't feel like paying 45 dollars for 2 from the Pack kit, and by the time I got around to deciding to buy some on eBay, no one had any for sale anymore.

After playing 40k for what seems like forever (15 years or so, my first models I got when I was 5!) I've built up not only a ton of armies and models, but a lot of conversions too.

I don't own a good camera, so that'll explain the picture quality but anywho...

I can't decide, so you guys can for me. I've got a million conversions but here are some of my favorites.

Oops. Looks like some technical difficulties.. Stand by for reboot

I give up. Ignore this post I GOT IT Yayyy.

Very nice conversions dude! would love to see more if you have any. I'm planning on building a samurai sm army in the future and seeing this fills me with inspiration (and more than a little jealousy )

I had one pair of unused terminator legs and I thought to myself: "Why not build a custom Typhus?"

This is the result. And yes, the only plastic bitz involved are two heads, the termi legs and the chopped up marine parts on the base. The rest is scratchbuild.

In the Warp, getting trolled by Tactical_Spam, AKA TZEENTCH INCARNATE

A very simple conversion, but one I personally really like. It's one of two Ork models I managed to save from a 30 cent box at the local wargaming store.
I wanted to change it into a WH40k Ork, so I swapped the two blades out for a shoota and a sword/cleaver-thing I still had in my bitz box, and added that Ork face-mask. Oh, and I tacked on a few spikes on one of the shoulderplates. Orks gotta be mean and fearsome, amiright?

Not sure what they're from, though. My best guess is Warhammer Fantasy, but I couldn't find them on the GW site anywhere, so yeah.

I think thats an old black ork model, from warhammer fantasy.

Probably not my best, but for laughs.....

  • 4x Plastic Tyrant Guard Scything Talons
