Oddly enough, I only work out when Im unemployed. Probably because I have nothing better to do besides send out resumes. But I get jacked quick because Im on a pretty brutal training schedule.

Seeing as how Ive been employed some 9 months, Im just average now :(

Brutal workouts dont make you big Steroids do-natural trainees stay the same at best but more usually get smaller after the first few months of training.

Er-no-sprinters have large explosive muscles (even the "slimmer" guys are all beef check out pics of Linford Kristie) distance runners on the other hand are spindly and pathetic looking.
Assuming you are male then even at your tiny hight you are well under muscled.

Bodyweight is a poor indicator for fat -check out Marius Pudzernouski in his strong man days 6ft tall about 320-340 with abs out.

If you can recover from 8 workouts a week you arnt working out. Also check out Dominic Philiou hes 6ft5 or 6 and recently lost weight to get to 380 hes not fat.

Mind you, according to some Doctors, my hefty frame (I'm 6'3") should be weighing around 12 stone. To which I say nonsense. I'm around 15, with only a smallish belly on me.

So yeah, arguably overweight, but without appearing to be fat. Hence, average.

PROBABLY NOT
Most people who think they have a high metabolism dont, there is a lot of rubbish perpetuated by media particularly TV regarding metabolic rate.
A fast metabolism actually referes to how long it takes food from being injested via the mouth to being passed at the other end.
EG a man starts out going for a Number 2 once per day-12 months into a fitness programme he goes 3 times a day-this is because regular exercise burns more calories and encourages more frequent eating (ideally a health digestive system should work like a conveyor belt , so for every meal in there should be waste out the other end).
Its about YOUR relative metabolic rate-if you have one dump per day or even every other-you will be sluggish and slow and all the fat in your food will have a chance to be absorbed-if like a body builder you eat say minimum 5 times per day you force food through your system more quickly (also helped by more fibre in the diet) which means more frequent dump and less chance for the body to digest fat (fat takes minimum 2-3hrs often 4+, protien no more than 60-90mins complex carbs (eg rice) 30min-2 hrs simple carbs=sugars a few mins some even absorbed in the mouth almost instantly.
We all know people who say they can eat anything and not gain weight-this is often untrue as they have a very small appettite and eat few proper meals subsisting on low protein snack foods that if added to a normal food intake would probably mean weight gain.
The most common truth behind people claiming fast metabolism is that they have poor digestion-they eat food but only properly digest a fraction of it =weak ,low muscle body and expensive poo.
Also remember calories are defined by food being BURNED in a lab-this is not how the human body uses food-no one digests 100% of food that they take in and the way an individual processes fat and carbs varies massively from one individual to another.
Persons with certain nervous conditions can end up using more calories due to involentary actions (nervous Tick) and many forms of mental stress can cause the brain to use a lot more energy than is normal.

In short -if you dont poop a lot (often-rather than one big dump) you dont have a fast metabolism you are just skinny.

As a multi-poop a day guy who constantly gets looked at and people claiming that is just wierd, THANK YOU for a source other then me trying to set the record straight. And this is something obtained through activity, and a gamer/painter CAN obtain this if they are the type that is always jumping up, making a scene everytime they get killed, or have to change they're position they are sitting in every 2 mins and are tapping their toes like they are hitting a bass drum pedal while they paint. Skinny does not = healthy metabolism, longer life expectancy. It may just mean you have a severe lack of muscle mass, and low density bones (thin woman in particular have the latter as a common problem).

But then the same also goes for thick muscle heads being "healthy". Even drug free ultra-muscular men have a shorter life expectancy them average. It's about as much strain on the heart pumping blood through a 350-lb body-builder as it is pumping it through a fat guy. There is just often a bit less cholesterol blocking the way

It's just nice to see someone set the record straight.

At your age if your belly doesnt cover your nuts dont worry about it, hormones will radically change you over the next few years. (and weight without height makes it impossible for us to judge you anyway).

There wasn't really an option here for me...

I'm 6 feet 6 inches and 210 pounds...I really stand out at gaming events as I'm usually the biggest and most athletic person there.

Most of the wargamers I know are not fat as per the stereotype, but very small, or underweight.

No hate here but that is massively underweight, if you were 5ft 8 that could be considered athletic but at your height you would need to be over 300 pounds.
