I ordered enough treads to make wider ones, at about 20mm wide, so this baby will have a wider ground pressure foot print as well as a wider chassis as that turret will be pretty darn big, two of those side by side
Just think 15 or so Strength 6 low armor pen numbered shots that get a re-roll to hit!

wider tracks will serve very well to make the massive look become "complete" looking^^

Massive without being uber-massive, the turret is gonna be wide! Side by side, the gatling cannons main drives are 65mm, so the width of the turret is likely to be a little over 70mm wide!

I have always had a spot in my heart for that style of Klingon ship, I have 2 of that thing, more pics of it to follow.

Yep, that tank will be a nasty monster killer as ir wil be designed for shredding gargantuan and monstrous creatures as well as hordes of even Power armored madmen!

to be honest... i always had a thing for evil empires... klinkins are far more interesting than starfleet... imperium is better than the rebells...one could see a pattern here... it is a mystery to me, why i haven´t gone cultist army instead of praetorians ...

I have ordered those two sets.

Praetorians act all civil, but they are pushers for the Imperium, folks forget, the Imperium of Man is no good guy either.

well.... it is a stand in good guy... no real good parties in 40k at all...

if you cover all that detail inside the turret plates.... couldn´t you have used just those barrels for the turret and leave the big barrel like structures for something else later use? just wondering....

That is where the wind up motors are Vik! I want to be able to plop that on an Apoc table, and wind 'em up and have the cannons spin as I roll the dice

oh.... i didn´t get it earlier that the barrels will actuallly spin.... wow... i can see this will be a cool effect.... probably will stain some pants

Now if they also had come with a flash effect with the sound of gatling gun roars it would be even sweeter!

have you tried radio shack? (leds, and a Piezio buzzer would do you I think)

As Shas said, Im going to construct that behemoth (come christmas lol). alongside it will be a war zepplin and light rocket tanks and more.....


As for everything here. I remember that robot from my days when i played a Robo-tech videogame (lots of fun, hard as hell). frekaing huge machine it was compared to the robot you commanded.

and the only way to top double gatling guns is 3 of them , look at the turret strapped to the juggernaught truck in Twisted Metal is you want to see what i mean lol. Epic eithe rway!!

@Engine of War, Well, I hav 2 more of those gatling cannons, maybe another such turret for a 2nd tank. Depends on how much track I have left over.

I added weapons spots to the Klingon ships. Still have to do more work on that Gatler turret.

I have fitted stuff to the transport tank,,,those doors are BIG! had to modify, I do hope he gets a door made with the hinges on the other side, I putty filled the on round window, and dremel made a slit window for that one

@shasolenzabi - Looking good. I have been lurking on this thread for a while . The flashy wheels should be ok - checked them myself, but waiting for new ones would have been a further week delay.
