@Dave I actually edged the bare meta look with boltgun as a base and mithril silver highlight at thI used a dark wash over the "metal" edges, and the grey of the guns

Thanks guys! I started the dark oily washes for the others and then I will do the Azurmen blue wash on them all, and then comes the greys and dark wash on the bases(Urban scene)

Got a 1/35scale T-34 for my Birthday, I have what I need to make it a Vanquisher conversion. hehehehe

No worries Vik.

It is longer than a leman Russ Tank, and roughly as wide as a Leman Russ, but oddly, lower in height even with the 40k hatch from an old Russ added on. It even came with a special added on armor plate so it literally has "Extra Armor" which one can pay to have on a tank to avoid it being stunned.
I have gray stuff worked in the larger vanquisher like barrel, and the hatch.I have Aquilla's and scroll bitz to add to it and make it a little more but it will likely be a heavy tank.

oh by the way... have you got time and rescources to show me a comparrision pic and maybe width and length of a trackshoe of a leman russ to a rhino?

i recently got rather cheap two tracksystems of a SM rhino... i could with these either make two count as LR or make one big heavy transport thingy...

but i need to make the chassis and of yourse sponsons and mainpody and turrets... as well as the tracks too...

so some helpful data would be...helpful

Aye, the bigger the better eh?

Leman Russ and Rhino Track shoes while looking different are roughly the same size, hence why I liked the Zinge ones, that and he made them easy to put together.

So roughlt 10-11mm wide, and around the 5mm length.

would you think that a 1.5cm width for the trackshoes would be too wide for the standard rhino ? of course i could always make them just 10mm and be on the safe side...

1.5cm would make a pretty decent track width.

Dave, it is so worth it to do it, we have seen you do similar works like the Corvega, and it will make you feel awesome making a tank all your own.

Now, I did say I was going to convert a T-34/76 to a 40K heavy tank so I am hoping our Russian friends do not think I have ruined an iconic piece of tank making with the conversion, If anything, I actually respect the Russian tanks.(At least the WW-II ones, as I have reports I have witnessed that for some years it seemed that something of the "magic" was lost by cold war tank makers in certain designs of the series up till the T-64, where something came back. (Hey every nation has had their slumps in making tanks as well as their peaks). So, I have been trying to name the newest addition to my stables,,,,T-1000, or the KV-99. Otherwise in keeping with Russian Tank making tradition, it is Objekt 65000

There is more to come! The turret has had parts added to it, the hull too! as are track links/armor for the lower bow for example!

the barrel looks suitable 40k for sure... and the hatch is quite good added to the turret... where i have my slight doubts is with the front look of the trackguards... also will you add some sideway trackguards?...

but all in all this tank ooozes fastness!

Well, the track guards front is what came out of the factory in 1940-1944, and they would have been a bother to cut off the upper hull. I think this will remain w/o side skirts etc. all part of that speedy look it has.
