University Of Phoenix Library has a Plagiarism checker for making sure credit for source material is given, present teacher though my 0% meant I was not quoting or anything, but I tend to take what is said, make the words into my own, and cite the sources hence the good scores, anything over 5% gets you in possible academic trouble.

that is silly. My school does it the fun way. THEY PUBLISH IT . That really puts the jeepers in ya for your technical papers.

I'd recommend some darker shade, maybe even a blackline, but you said you were out of washes right?

"Melt" uses an arm with a bandage wrap, and I want to make it look like blood seeped thru and that it is less than a fresh bandage.....Hmmmmm, suggestions guys?

Dried blood has a brownish tint to it, but it's still red. Perhaps start with gory red and add a bit of brown? or a brown wash over red?
And then don't forget dirt that sticks to the edges of dirty band-aids

Like shaso could forget dirt , next you'd be saying nerdfest has gone all clergy on us, and not in a brother vinni way.

I would do a dark brown stain first in a sort of "eye" shape and then do a smaller red one inside that and then a little dilute black in the middle of that to make it look dark in the middle. (that is actually what I just did on my table).

But shouldn't a doc scrub often enough where the blood doesn't get brown and nasty? That's at least he doctors I prefer to see.

Actually hope not to see much blood in the chemistry lab...it's not usually a good sign at any time or in any state between wet and dry...

Well, I have done the applied tricks and mixed red and brown for a dried blood effect, I added the pic here may not be sharp, but to show the color of the blood stain.

I added the brownish washes, I did however leave a "clean" patch near the ripped shirt sleeve as it made sense to leave that in that condition.
