As for pant scheme...I would do your standard camo scheme for fatigues as I imagine these to be some of your storktroopers having been fought up with chaos forces and sadly they lost having been transformed...

Too bad the ladies lost a bit of their sexiness inthe process...

Some will get the camo I use, I am thinking of also janitorials/medical/I see orange used a bit over much, so blues and reds for medical sections pants may also be used along with a simple security monotone as well. The Infection is strong!

It strikes home the idea that these were people before the nano-infection took them over and started remaking them into alien monstrosities.

Valorian elites sent to investigate the infection. Valorian elites are the equal in many ways of storm troopers, advanced enhanced carapace armor with light servo assists, hermetic seal ability with enclosed air supply or re-breathers which filter harmful agents, visors that allow multiple vision ability along with heads up tactical displays when needed along with targetters. Special weapons made most use of, Grenade launcher and melta weapon. Also, fire suppression team makes use of dual man portable auto-cannons. Captain has a power-sword and plasma pistol, the sniper a snipers rifle, and the heavy weapons specialist is able to wield a heavy Melta or alternate to heavy flamer. Medic carries a heavy pistol, a las pistol, and a carbine as well.

As can be seen, while the majority of the uniforms and weapons of the Tyarvetzyan soldiers in the main forces of the Khadrovian Union are of the same quality as their neighboring systems or Murmanskya and Arkeletsya, the head gear and breathing protection is varied based on the beliefs of the regions where they grew up as to what best works for toxin blocking in the air they breathe. Some wear no protection, already having built up a tolerance, others wear simple chem treated face rags, while others use more sophisticated filter masks, and others, especially solidly amongst the heavy weapon troops, re-breathers. This all is due to areas of toxicity endemic to their world to the man made pollution they must endure. When they get a tour of duty on a clean and fresh air world, they will reluctantly remove the masks to breathe deeply of the cleaner air, but keep the masks close by as that is drilled into each of them.

I use the colored base trick for dealing with what man is in which squad on the battle table. So much easier for the heavy weapons.

Gotta do the best I can as the Defiance Games UAMC marines are pretty standardized, the details are there, just have to paint them out more

I will need to do a write up with more info on the Valorian faction now that I have them. The Deadzone one will be easy as Enforcers are my "Ice Sanction" troops of the Khadrovian Inquisition.

The Valorans, as can be seen by their armor, weapons and other equipment, are a high tech culture in the Khadrovian Union of United Republics. Enhance servo assisted carapace is not quite the same as powered armor, but that it does provide the Valoran soldiers with enhanced communications, targeting, and sensory input, as well as allow some mobility including mobile heavy weapons as man-portable. The soldiers use the Mk-II suits, the A models for the Males, and B models for the females as they set for the mostly slighter frame of build of the women compared to the men. The standard weapon issued to all is the M-7 pattern rifle. they also have the M-19 Grenade launcher, the M-12 Fusion carbine, and for heavier suppression work, the M-22 pulser cannon, capable of suppressing enemy infantry as well as light armored to middle armored vehicles Here is the M-22 heavy suppression team, camo is still being applied to these elite troops.

The smaller combat teams carry the the M-7 rifle, the M-19 Grenade Launcher and the M-12 fusion carbine for truly heavy enemies. Green Team

The Amexadians prefer to not be loaded down with large heavy weapons that need more than one man to carry. They prefer that be the governance of supporting Tanks, Armored Personnel carriers, or walkers as support heavy weapon platforms. Instead, they prefer mobile rifle teams supported with grenade launchers attached to their rifles, and the Squad Assault Weapon their armor is of good quality, and their helmetscome with a built in rebreather that folds away when not in use, the visors that can also be down or up inside the helmet which also has a small commlink, has the ability to initiate a heads up display for the Amexadian infantry soldiers. The main weapons seen in these three command squads are the M-46 modular rifle, which can have instead a shorter barrel with handgrip for the close quarters combat the Amexadians do get involved in. Another add on to the M-46 is the M-5 grenade launcher attachment. This improves the firepower of the squad. The M-48 S.A.W. is the top weapon for fire suppression that is used by the Amexadian fire teams, always with support from the walkers and vehicles they like to have handy.

Where did these latest chaps come from? Are they the same line as the strain and anime-cyborg-chick-with-a-large-gun and friends, or a different one?

The armored suits do indeed come with the anime guitar pose sniper rifle girl. these are the majority of the "Vanguard" from sedition wars.

The guys who look like they escaped the movie Star Ship Troopers are the Defiance Games' UAMC troops of that troubled and failing company which screwed itself flip-flopping on materials to make the models from, the UAMC guys are plastics, they went some othr material mid stream several times, resin/plastic/restic/some other stuff. they failed to deliver many orders, apparently I got very lucky with my order of 118 UAMC troops.

Many failed to receive a simple 1 box order of their own army selected, the Panzer Grenadiers had size issues, the Bugs also had issues, and the final product of Chinese Empire troops had casting problems like failcast. they were supposed to also make and deliver a "Hard-suit" unit and that is still in limbo. They had such promise, but tried too many changes to make it succeed, should have stuck with the plastics and sold many units of UAMC to help finance the other factions and get a research section so they could see what switching to restics would have done to them. too much too soon it seems.

Dreamforge has done some to save us all from the high priced GW IG minis.

did you ever show a comparrision shot of the new minis against GW or DF soldiers (or WGF) ?

the robot is classy indeed...I am currently playing new vegas again...have you ever encountered the alien UFO in the north there?... you get a fancy alien blaster there... just as in the old 2D game...

I need to get my 360 back so I can play those again. I still can't get used to playing with keyboard and mouse.

They had just the laser rifles, it is a % to find the blaster, and then of course it will have limited ammo

Size comparisons eh? I did some shifting around so the difference between the male and female troopers could be seen. One actual IG officer, a Space Marine captain, DFG and Defiance minis also for scale shot.

Even the IG officer is comically large and bulky compared to the others, so, GW needs to rethink their size and make smaller guards, or bigger marines, right now, I have Marines that seem 6ft with massive bulk squeezed into a powered suit of armor. More like some Brotherhood of Steel like chaps

Think with GW is the made all infantry more or less the same height to make competitive play more fair. If you ask me it ruins it for those of us who like our scale.

I have often held the belief that by scale your actual space marine is only 5 foot tall and all weedy, it's just all suit you see, thats why you cant kill them, you hit what you thought was body but it just hit thin air, he is that skinny.

GW has basically made their models more comical scale than heroic
