The SWM APC is a pretty nice model but getting stuff from them costs me a bomb due to custom charges so I avoid them now.

As for MRM I think I have pretty much everything he has released so far, just love the stuff and the Jovians are just so cool

It was cheap domestically shipped cross country from California to me, the details on the SWM 6x6 is crisp and I like it.

Yes, it is a pleasant model to clean and build, I did have to glue on some shims for the turret, but that is an easy thing.

Based on the differences in the kits I have made, I am tempted to do Marina jokes like on Top Gear where different objects are dropped on that car, but replace the Marina with the Hammer

I still feel, they could do it better, and make a model that resembles more what the imagery promises compared to the saltine cracker like resin and multi-project mold, it needs a better resin and dedicated mold and solid tires.


This image is no longer used by them on their site, I just checked, they may have been made to make some changes as to what they show, just cleaned up and made models, some unpainted from the better resin version, plus one painted by someone

So the SWM kit is more like a McClaren in comparison. I used to get Old Crow, but Jez is very busy doing work for a studio making films. There some odd excess in the wheel wells of the 6x6, but a decent amount of glue and some holding in place (with an activator to get the glue to set fast(I licked the axle ends) it worked and set fast.

Plastic APC kits I am loving the Dreamforge Hanomag.

Painted you say? Priming has been done, so it starts! I will also need to order more Jovian Hammer bodies for the other two heads/arms the set came with. Mohawk head and the one who had his head repaired. But here is the gang all primered in white.

Oddly enough they fusioned a German WWII turret with more modern optics and sensors stretched it a bit, but the side hatches with the vision ports screams PzKpfW-III or IV to me.

It is a nice vehicle design. I particularly like that it isn't covered in rivets. Sets it apart from many of the other 3rd party vehicle kits. I just wish it were cheaper. I'd like to get one, but for the same price, I could just buy a Valkyrie.

Yes, and it was easy to get done. Now I have to primer it, then paint it.

The Turret is set for dealing support to it's team I now have enough weapons left to feed other vehicles! I can order another 6x6 as I have the one hull heavy flamer

I figured Catachan arms were his more Conan Da Barbellian days, he actually trimmed his muscles down for Predator for more believeability. Consider this Arnold more the Governator sized arms.

I am looking at the Vin Diesel looking guy that Brother Vinni made. Maybe some more stuff as well, the lady troopers look good as well. Meanwhile, I have those troops to finish, the buff for the hanomag interior, and 30 Valkir to prime/paint.

Both, I see the one bunch as having come out of their barrack or tents while it was sleep time, so grabbed their rifles no matter what state of dress they were in. Full uniform shows they were set for action and on duty.

Very beefy! it has weight as it has so much internal structure to it, and the parts also the 10mm and the 8mm screws it needs for moving wheels and the swiveling gun gantry! (The gun gantry uses the 8mm screw, the tires use the 10mm version).

Speaking of the gun gantry, Oh this would also do well with a pair of the Panzer killer cannon on it.

I have built squads, so I felt that if I get open vehicles, like the Athenocenti jeeps and such, the sitting guys would work well for them. Each is a mini model alone.

Ahh that's cool, rather than the sometimes forgeworld solution of having a resin seating bench with the models molded to it, you basically get a bunch of eisenkern drivers for 3rd party vehicles, how cool. Too bad I don't want them myself Still thinking about the tank/car thing someday.
