Fancy stuff! That last hanomag thing really came out well! I admire anyone who can stand to paint minis just to stuff them into a transport like that

Fallout stuff is cool too, as are the extra eisenkern things a little ways back.

Powered armor is cool. amazing the idea for it is a 1950's concept.....Heinlein is to thank for it from his original book Starship Troopers

The regular T-45 guys are from Brother Vinni Miniatures as are the heads on the dust models.

Oh they are detachments of the Inspector General.

Enclave are tasked with the specifics of hunting Mutants....

BoS are the recovery of tech items for the improvement of the Unions' Military prowess.

But they can work as effectively as any powered armored elites.

How do you rate reaper paints by the way ? Consistency is it thick or thin, easy coat or gradual build up ?

Thank you, I had seen Wyrmalla accomplish similar feats in his fallout thread, so I knew this would work out okay. As for the Reaper paints, I shake the bottles, some of their colors are meant as high-light, dry-brush colors, others seem to be foundation like, so I tend to carefully paint the minis and go over them again, the pigments are high quality, and I get much more paint for less money than GW paint pots, and as these are dropper bottles, less waste as long as I squeeze just what I need. I get them at 3.75USD per bottle of half an ounce capacity as opposed to GW 0.4 oz. at what is it now? 4.25USD per paint pot of GW? so they are quality, and they give more and cost less than GW.

But the heads were cheap, about 15euros total for 3 sets. 16+USD to order and ship them, and the Dust guys as we know are low cost, BIG they may be, but hey, FO 4 has that bulky and big new power armor as shown in the trailers.







In that new big armor, you are almost as big as the deathclaws, and the gun has a way to let you know it needs to cool down, I love the "realism" with the barrels glowing red.

whoa... that´d be definitely a first n a game to have that realism shown...not on a meter but on the barrels itself...

and it wouldn´t be a FO game without a dreadclaw in it...wouldn´t it?

also... i always wondered ... your way of army building... have you ever looked at maschiienen krieger suits?... i have the thinking that thhis could be quite a cool ogryn version for your russians

It's not the cost keeping me from it as much as if the wife looked over my shoulder and saw brother vinni's topless prisoners or othe SM stuff I'd be in the real dog house.

So far I'm safe from any Dust purchases, but there are a few of their items I want.

I've surely got some heads laying around that may make those bigger power armored Dust allies guys look kinda cool, basically just steal Shas's idea with different helmets... I can't resolve the normal allies though, they've got some kind of weird kilt/skirt thing going on that will keep them from matching my other stuff. The power armored guys though...

Actually kind of making me think I could save the IMEF guys from Reaper by headswapping them so they look more like they're in chunky power armor rather than just being stupidly chunky

Now I need to check how my dreamforge guys scale next to the Zombicide figs. Might be able to come up with an opposing force for the eisenkern using them. Though I'll be using some DUST stuff I have already since you reminded me off them.

Dreamforge are good scale, they should do well.

the last group of troopers in that pic are AWESOME!!!! dust tactics bodies with the Brother Vinni heads?! Very cool and a brutal aesthetic!..... my brain is saying to me.... Steam/Diesel Punk Imperial Stormtroopers / Clone Troopers...... hmmmm....

Could you give me a quick wee low down on the parts if I am correct.....

Mainly the Dust Tactics figures I got from MM, the red glare rocket also has a bent paper clip as well as parts of a flamer from WGF to help it be more than just a set of tubes stuck together, and Brother Vinni heads that resemble T-51 power helmets.

There were more powered armor minis, but the shake ups with Dust have seen less at the MM, but some new axis ones are in the making,

you´re always talking about dust as if it is dead cheap... from my point of view it still packs a hefty price....

The miniaturemarket sale is good, but it was better right when they brought back the DUSTstorm sale. They had the tenament houses for $15-16 each, now they are back at $22.50 (still a great price), wish I would have had the cash back then.

Ahh I was gonna say... I didn't really want them at 22, but 15 would be a bit more attractive. As much as I love Mantic and battlezones terrain.. the tenement houses look easier.

Yeah those do look nice,,,22 a piece I could swing at most 2-4, 5 bucks a piece would be easier by far! I do see the allies command powered armor team I could put the Vault-Tec style helmets on though!

Yeah, I can't deal that much with the Mantic pegs, I used them to hold the parts together, all my Deadzone terrain is as they appear, and will be so till they get ripped apart or whatever.

I like the two different Hanomags. It's like there's the infantry (well mechanized infantry) version, and then the pompous 'inquisitor' variant that's bigger, tougher, and with too many bells and whistles to afford it for the troops.

I do ok with battlezones, just can't rush it, and don't do it in a bad mood or you'll destroy the little clips
