He may have been a bit insane, no one knows for sure, but he knew they had some DNA from a Lupine species that were in cryo-storage, but he only could activate it with human host cells, he used some technology that then was available, but now would be likely sanctioned, who knows? he merged human and wolf features and made the Luporians which are more a wolf with hands and human intellect, they can speak to a degree, but can also draw maps, read directions and write, as well as use close combat weapons as they do not seem to like the loud noise of shooting weapons. As he had used a retro-viral approach, the Luporians if cranky can inject their saliva via a bite, and once that happens, children born to bitten/infected women the Luporians bit have a stranger abhuman mutation (this is how I was able to make an Infinity/WH40K crossover unit! ), these abhumans at first seem normal, a little bigger, a little more aggressive than their fellows, but when angered, they can at will shift themselves to the massive, hulking, Ogryn sized Dog-Soldiers.

As can be seen, the Dog-Soldiers will still wear a uniform and armor, and will use all manner of weapons, as seen with the shotgun in that troopers hands. others of his kind will wield other weapons such as hand cannons and large knifes, others are known to wield rifles as if they were pistols ( as they are now big enough the weapons are smaller in the hands of the Dog-Soldier aspect fo these soldiers, they will also fight literally "tooth-n-Nail" if all else fails and they are left with no weapons as they ARE weapons!

That now dead Arch-Magos-Biologis would be very pleased with the way it all turned out.


The Volg Republic is still made up more of Humans, but these two examples and another human/wolf Hybrid which are more human with some slight changes are the last of the effects of the experiments to try and re-create the original, but the people of Volg are normal people, unless a Luporian bites someone's mom.

Other Volg technology is still pretty standard stuff, so units of elite troops and the occassional odd tech, plus the Luporian/Dog-Soldiers as well as the mentioned half-breeds will be their contribution, albeit the unease of non-Volg troopers upon seeing the hairy troops from Volg, so they get to go for advanced attacks into the enemy rear areas, so they all have "scout" and flanking rules.

Well, it may not always work with the ultra-orthodox types, the Union is skirting close to getting into trouble with the Imperium.Glad you liked the fluff though!

I like how your wolves are coming along. It's probably going to be a while before I get to my Devil Dog team though. You're definitely getting me inspired to work on mine. Are you going t be adding any camo to the Dog Warrior's uniform?

Hey there! the pouches are to be given a light leather/worn effect, with dark "clips", but yes, the vest and pants will be getting a camo pattern on them as well.

So, I drybrushed a light color onto the pouches and bags, then a brown ink was used for that "oil in the seams effect, and another drybrushing was added to them, straps in green, and brown clips Tell me what you think?

That's really coming together nicely bud. They look spot on.

I like a gentle dry-brush of "sand" colour on leather things to show wear. Not all over, just in certain spots, corners and the like.

Well, I am going with the idea that the packs and pouches have served with other troops before this guy, he just got given what still works after years of service due to reclaimation and re-issues by the quarter-masters.

More dogfaces are on the way, and I ordered some Hasslefree troops thanks to the lowered costs of the pound.

Okay, have made work of s green-on-green camo pattern for woodland environs, of course he has stretched his gear a bit, so take that as it comes.the vest may well be custom sized for when he goes to that huge form. the others that came to day seem to shed some of their uniforms when they "Wolf out" as it were.

With General Creed(Man the GW stuff seems so short and stocky compared to other ranges.

The wide stances don't help GW stuff *at all*.

I like the wolfmen. The human forms are a little funny in the posing but still nice figures. I really like that the chain rifles the men and wolfmen have are the same size. Which makes sense. Sooooo much more sense than the rifles for men and women to be vastly different in size, and the tags having giant versions with the same stats.

Yet my wolfy with the shotgun has a 6ft long weapon!

Very nice Eisenkern. That camouflage looks great. Also, you have inspired me to buy some of those wolfmen for myself

Yeah colors are coming nicely. I'm really boring when I do fur and hides and stuff, so I like seeing neat patterns in critters like these that at least resemble real life critters.
