I did some washes around the edges of the full colors so the white would show a transitional patterning.

The wolves are getting there, i wonder why there are always img tags floating around

???...wolves...?... wow...these are some vicious beast for sure... that fur looks very colourful...i like that!

and the new camo...does that mean these are not khardovian´s? or are you easing in a new camo scheme for your troops?

they are still using my block style, woodland camo similar to the Catachan/Caskrainean Republican forest troops, but the wolfies are from the Republic of Volg, so different Republic of the Union. Sorry for any confusion Vik.

Health is important, so I understand why ou have not been on as much except maybe a lurk or two.

Thanks, he is mostly looking the best, but I am still unhappy with the eyes, will redo the black, then yellow on both, I need to touch up the nose for the red one, and add that scar. Next I may not do elaborate tattoos, but at least a Imperial Eagle should be on the scarred one. LOL!

Ariadna (Republic of Volg) wolfy, and Jovian Hammer known as Fenix. We all know both are big fellas. the 58th have male and female soldiers, and the height difference is notable in that squad lone, then we see them compared to much larger soldiers

Very slim though. They are more realistically proportioned than GW miniatures but are still very nice

True, the armor is more close fitting than other armors, similar in ways to the Samaritans in Sedition Wars.

Wow, the Jovian Hammers don't seem quite so huge compared to the Dog Faces.

I'd been wanting those Hasslefree figures for a while, but I didn't know they were available in metal yet.

Yep, the Hammers are small compared to the Dogfaces. like kids in comparison!

the minis are metal, and one molded, so no fiddly bits to mess with. Can't wait for the 109th minis in their carapace suits.

People are all shapes and sizes so don't think it is that important. The minis look great.

Well, here are GW/Dreamforge and Hasslefree lined up, and the SM is same height, but very wide! He should be a head or so over them in height!

In fact, I think that the variety in shapes and sizes is important, to the point that I intend to have a mixture of sizes when I come to add the Imperial Guard to my army.

So, the power packs of the suits seems to be in the backs as slim bulges. the similar looking Sedition Wars suits have a sort of triangular hump on their backs.

So, I thought that the soldiers of the 58th had familiar parts, and I got out 2 Sedition Wars troopers, and compared them, the SW troops I call Valorians, and they are also a slim set of humans.

The females size up about right, and the helmets of the Lt and the female SW trooper look very similar, I think Kev from Hasslefree had to have helped them with sculpt work.

Coming soon, I took a break from Wolfies for everyone's favorite murderous space simians, Morats. For the people's of the Pearl Strand, they are a mystery race, raiding outposts, small colonies, and un-escorted trade ships. On walls attesting to their savage butchery, scrawled in the victims own blood, by their hands identify their assailants.... Ga' Morla.

Violent and as savage as any Ork force, but with the technology as comparable to that of the Tau! A major threat to all, yet they have not done more so far than small raids, no massed fleets, no major army landings, and always little left behind. Either way, the Ga' Morla are growing as a new bogey-man of the Strand worlds.

Well, my first wave of Morat/Ga' Morla figures arrived today! they are bulky enough to deserve the stats I will assign them as a race that is encroaching on the "Pearl Strand" region!

The one guy in heavy powered armor is big enough to warrant a 2+ save,,,,yeah S4/T4/I4 they are deadly. But as they like to get to grips with their prey/enemy, BS3 seems decent. WS4 as they prefer that. another unit will be all about a higher WS. good thing they have limited numbers so far! They will cause no end of problems if they get past pirate level raiding.
