If you look at the first two tanks in this thread, the Sanctimonia Cruoris and the Iron Breaker, you can get an idea of the Heavy and Medium Turret size. I don't have a pic of the Liberator Turret on a Leman Russ (although it will fit) but I do have one of it on a Rhino chassis:

Thank goodness that, once again, you have managed to avoid that pintle-mounted-heavy-stubber nonsense, which would have truly pushed this tank over the edge, power-wise.

Well I'm back and just in time for another Toys for Tots project!

This time around I will be tackling a super-heavy for the Space Wolves once again based on the Baneblade kit, a number of my own specialty parts, some plasticard and more bits than you can shake a stick at (Go fetch Russ! Woof! Woof!).

First up is the turret and main weapon, currently called the Helfrost Annihilator. This was basically made from two of the main cannons from the Stormfang kit mounted side by side on one of my Heavy Tank Turrets with a bit of plasticard in between. I also used some of the helfrost cannons in the small hull turret up front.

The track sections are using my Oppressor Pattern 1.0 Tank Tracks (seemingly appropriate for the Space Wolves) along with a bunch of bits from the SW kits, Forge World and plasticard.

Once again this beast will be painted by our good friend Tommy Clark “Munkey Joe” and will go to auction on eBay in December with 100% of the winning bid going to Toys for Tots!

Help support a good cause!

Hey, I think I saw your stuff on ebay, and I finally put the two and two together and checked this thread. Now that you've replied, I won't be afraid of the Necro either.

I have a question. Can you take a single widowmaker cannon and place it into the groove on the light turrets? I am curious as I want some gun emplacements for my Fortress I am building but, I don't want to go bankrupt either...

(You'd be rich though, so I guess someone wins... )

Also, if I PM you a few questions would you be interested in answering them? I have a lot of conversions for my army involving howitzer style conversions, so those widowmaker cannons yet again interest me. Glad to see you're doing this for a good cause, and your tanks still make me drool like mad.

Yes you could mount the Widowmaker cannon to the Light Turret but it would look very odd given that the Widowmaker is bigger than the turret How big of a cannon/turret system are you looking for? I was planning to make a smaller cannon for the Light Turret. But if you want to keep the size of the Widowmaker take a look at my Medium Tank Turret.

I'd be glad to answer and questions. Just shoot me a PM.

Thanks for your quick reply. I sent a PM. I couldn't really find what I needed in your listing due to the wonky odd numbered amounts I needed, and I sent some pictures and questions along for you to help me with. Thanks for taking the time out to answer them.

No . But they and the sponsons are undergoing a refresh. I don't know when they'll be back but it will be in the next few months.

Awesome. I look forward to seeing them again. The old turret was perfect for a conversion I had in mind, hopefully the new one has that little flat spot too for my hacoc launcher.

Unrelated but, do your sponsons normally go for 16$, or is it due to the refresh phase? (Either way I understand, supply and demand laws, or if that's not the case the sheer work involved.)

Also my first PM didn't go through but, I think I got it to work. Just feel bad for finding a third, (fourth?) outlet of places to buy 60$ worth of bits from.

Zinge, Anvil and now Mach are going to eat my stock market money and my children's savings at this rate.

Welcome back Tom!

Question if I may? the Capricorn Chimera, do you have any estimate on when you might be able to get some more of the kits made?

You have no idea how happy I am to hear that!

Also I'll add my Felblade picture in here as well, seeing as its your kit that helped build it (although I will put it in spoilers)

All these tanks make my Rhinos and Predators die a little on the inside. (In their Machine Spirit, lol?) They make my wallet weep for days of being full too...

Update time! It's been a long few weeks but the beast is finally done!

Now it will be sent off to our friend Tommy Clark Munkey-Joe for a coat of paint. The plan after that is to put it up for auction in December with 100% of the winning bid going to Toys for Tots!

So what should we name this thing?

I like naming it after the Hell Wolf!

Very cool tank! Like the small little tailsments on the sides. Very cool.

I'll check. You would have to cover up the hole for the door but they should fit.

Hey Mach, placed an expensive order a few days ago. I got a spotlight and a green twin led set for my old rhinos.

Anyways, I am extending my old RT rhinos with cardstock and making them look more like the old Spartan tanks. Do you have any treads that would be able replace the old treads and wrap around completely?

Thanks for the order!

Can you post some pics of what you're doing? I won't think a RT Rhino could be extended into a Spartan But if the vehicle will be about Land Raider in size and is Imperial I'd recommend the Liberator Pattern 0 Tank Treads:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Liberator-Pattern-0-Tank-Treads-40-/251466338701?pt=Games_US&hash=item3a8c8fd18d

You'll probably need about three sets to wrap all the way around.
