Does anyone know of a source for Tallarn-like heads? Pig Iron and MaxMini don't seem to have any. It would be great to find some.

Yes, if a post over 2 years old was never answered I see no reason in not being able to ask the question again w/out being fragged for it.
Wish I could be of help. My suggestion is to use some Catachan heads & GS them. I've done it before, it's not that hard. I don't have my desert dogs any longer (divorce) or I'd post pics.

War games factory andPerry minis have done Mideast historicals sine the initial post. They might have heads that work. WGF Persians are cheap now

Oh cool! Thanks Kid! I was going to ask if the heads came separate, but those full model sprues are so cheap it doesn't matter. As long as they are 28 mm warhammer size at least...

GW still sells Tallarn desert raiders, they're just made of metal, in the collector's section, and are 40 bucks. Also includes the Steel Legion (gonna get some of these!), Mordian Iron Guard, and Valhallan Ice Warriors.

Ramshackle Games do a turban and gasmask head set, not quite Tallarn but pretty cool nonetheless

There's better shots over on Ramshackle of the bare resin heads but they're £4.00 for 10 random heads (4 different variants)
