I am really happy to see a lot of you are are coming out to Klash! It looks like there's going to be a solid turn out! I'm also happy there will be Orks as nothing say epic karnage like a massive Waagh!!!! Actually i like Orks because no matter how well planned out an army or strategy is, the Ork factor seems to always throw that out the window.

Ahh i've only bought one Tervigon kit so far, and I've got the fleshborer hive painted and magnetized if I ever want to use it, sorry.

No worries, saw a cool kit bash on bluetablepainting using them as the TL devourers for a Flyrant.

Looks really mean, you should check it out if you plan on running a TLDev Flyrant (which is super fun btw)

They aren't fun, they are bad, very bad, so bad you should never think about them again, not to mention never use them in a game.

Had a couple great games tonight against skycapt44 tonight, including a great bit of speed hammer .

Great games the other night. Even though they weren't close the speed hammer was madness. Glad I stayed the extra time...wasn't too late either. Made it down down in under 30 minutes.
No rush on my storm talon.

I too plan to do the klash tourny. Rythem, if I don't see you by then and you choose to go to the Klash you can bring it then.

I recently just got back into 40k after a very long break. It's been over 5 years.

I am nearly finished painting/ converting an Imperial Fists army of about 1500 points.

I can currently field about 1000 points and would like to find a game group that is open and friendly.

Mostly I've ran into trouble getting a game in.at the local game-store, and I rather not have to fight for table time.

I'm in my late 20's and a little shy at first, but after I get to know people I'm a chatter box.

I live in Toronto's city core, but I don't drive. So I'm looking for games in the city.

I tend to have Sundays off.

Looking to play for fun, and I enjoy story driven games/campaigns with fluff and background.

Just a heads up that Legends table top gaming area will be shut down for most of Saturday Jan. 19th and Sunday Jan. 20th due to our Magic GPT Quebec Tournament.
The tables will be up and running on following Tuesday.

Welcome back into the gaming scene, Toronto has a lot of places that you can game at though not having transportation might limit your options a bit. Depending on where in the core of Toronto you live could also narrow your options, Heavy Support Games is in the west end, Meeplemart is in the East end, Legends Warehouse is North Toronto in Vaughn. There are also a couple other stores in and around the downtown though I've never been to any of them so can't offer any real information. I know personally that Legends has a good gaming group that is pretty active, sadly I don't have a lot of knowledge about Meeplemarts group since it's out of my driving range, and HSG has weird hours to try and get a game in for me.

A lot this info really depends on how far you are willing to travel for a game, and what times are best for you to game at, once you have those 2 things nailed down posting in this forum usually turns up results for finding a game.

just wanted to give a shout that I've uploaded into the Gallery (search "Klash") a few of the custom table tops that I commissioned for Klash. The artist who did them is extremely talented and did each table from scratch and has exceeded all my expectations thus far. Just imagine your armies waging war on those epic table tops! It will make for some excellent photos!

Welcome!

Meeplemart is good, they have a core group of guys that frequently show up. There are in the middle of a league campaign right now, but you can usually find a few pick up games there.

Ther is also Friendly Troll inbetween North York Center and Finch TTC stations, I'm always up for a game there, just let me know a time!

Finally there is GW Yonge and Lawrence, I haven't been there but a few people in thie thread have played there a few times.

Just post up when and where you are looking for a game and you'll usually get a response.

Weekend is fine as well, apparently when my gf is studying the more out of the house i am the happier she is.

Again heads up, this weekend is Gatecrash pre-release weekend so table at Legends are out of commission.
