Thinking just a wraithknight for now, should be fun to build and "paint". I doubt I'll get either flier since I don't tend to field those if I can avoid it, other than that there really aren't any "new units" in the codex from what the rumor mill has been pumping out. I'll need to really read through it to see what changes have been made before I do anything to drastic.

The entry fee is kinda pricey sort of but man it was so much fun~

I think everybody should consider it next year

Are there any groups in Oakville, Ontario who play? This thread is enormous, not sure if it's been mentioned already.

I have a couple of friends who I play against but the games are months between because they live in other cities. I don't know anyone in my entire town who I can play against. I'd love if there were a small to medium sized group I could get to know and have my ass handed to me a few times by, or even just hobby with, like build and paint and work on scenery and stuff. I'm so alone when I paint and assemble! Let me know!

I live in Vaughan. I would love to issue some DE pain a few times a month! . Do you travel? Is there somewhere to play near you? I usually play at Legends or at my house, both of which are in Vaughan.

I'm 24, and I usually just prefer to play at my house when we game. I have a Realm of Battle board and lots of scenery so we usually just play at my place. There's no 'place' to play, I wish there was some sort of place I could meet with people, but alas. :(

I remember a place being open in Burlington called "The Hobby Kingdom", I'm pretty sure they're still open and it seemed like a really nice place the last time I was there.

Also, a Games Workshop store opened up in Burlington this past weekend. I have yet to drop by it but I would assume, from all my experiences with GW stores and their staff, that it is probably a highly toxic environment for comfortable play. GW staff, in my experiences, are typically worse then car salesmen and telemarketers at pushing product, its offensive (not in skill, in how hard they push it at you). There is the odd good GW employee, however.

There's also a place called "Heavy Support Games" in Etobicoke. Haven't been, it seems small though.

Legends seems to be the favourite, its located in Vaughn (as has been mentioned) and its a fantastic store with plenty of gaming and sitting area, and some of the nicest staff I've met in any store. My only [constructive] criticism on Legends is that its lighting is slightly poor and largely provided by the windows. If it had some better lighting, especially over the gaming tables, it'd be very close to the ideal gaming store (in my opinion, at least).

I'm located up in Bolton and I have a car and don't mind going to lower Brampton or to Vaughn, but farther is too far for me.

In terms of gaming at my house, I live in a *very* nice, *very* large house with a massive, mostly empty basement, but I don't have any terrain yet. Have tables downstairs and adequate lighting, but again no terrain. I wouldn't mind having anyone over to game as long as I've played before with you (at legends or whatever) at least once - ie, have met you in person.

Is anyone near me? For example, in Brampton or similar?

The GW in Burlington is five minutes away from me, but I don't like GWs. The employees are overbearing and the 'regulars' it attracts are among the most irritating people in the world - can't stand them for long at all. If I have to enter a GW, I'm in and out as fast as possible.

We took a pretty rock/paper/scissor's list and the first two games our scissors beat the paper, but then we got crushed by Rocks in the last 2

So, are you willing to travel to Vaughan? If not, I would be able to travel to Oakville on weekends only... early in the morning. If this works with you, let's set up a game. This weekend I am away for work, but we can set something up for future weekends. I don't play at GW locations.

2pm works with me, last time i was in legends it wasn't overly hot, plus they are calling for 16 on thursday so I wouldn't be to worried. How about 2000 pts, i'm probably going to be fielding my eldar since the new codex just came out and I want to give it a try.

Sounds good! Dark Eldar versus Eldar... and I may also have a few new units up my sleeve.... 2 p.m. start at Legends. 2000 points.
