Too bad there is nothing in GTA like "Warhammer World" that you mentioned. It makes the game 10x more enjoyable with some badass epic terrain.

Is anyone going to be up at legends Sunday?

Sounds cool. A few days ago a buddy of mine said he might be up for some sunday gaming and I'm just waiting to hear a conformation from him. If he's in, then I'll be happy to play a game with you too, but we likely won't have time for an apoc sized one. If he's out, we can play up to whatever point you like.

I'll try to get an answer from him by 4 or 5 today.

how about fantasy players?? I live north of markham but have been meaning to play at Heroes world. all this End Times stuff is blowing my mind. I've got a large nurgle warriors army but im more keen on playing my bretonnians lately. Ive also got a good sized Ogre army (assuming no one buys it).

Yep 8k points, though if i field a dreadnought formation and use my eldar warwalkers as additional dreadnoughts i can hit 9500 lol.

But ya between 10:30 and 11 works for me, i will see you then. Was hoping the new codex would be out before so i could get some cheaper stuff but no such luck.

Rules to be used.
• Armies will consist of 1500 points or less.
• Players MUST use the same army list throughout the tournament.
• Codices that are released prior to Dec. 6th, 2014 will be allowed in this event. Forge World army lists and
material from the Horus Heresy books WILL NOT be allowed in this event.
• Players must construct their army using one Combined Arms Detachment (CAD) only. No other Detachments are
allowed. This means any Codex that does not have HQ or Troops selections (Codex Inquisition, Codex Legion of the
Damned, Codex Imperial Knights and the Assassins Data Slate) MAY NOT be used.
• Lords of War WILL NOT be allowed in this event.
• Fortifications WILL NOT be allowed in this event.
• All supplemental Codex armies will use their parent Codex to construct army lists.
• Imperial Armour units (Forge World) are allowed in this event and are considered to be part of the relevant Codex or
faction. In ALL cases, only the most currently published rules for any particular unit will be allowed.
• A printed army list is required for the judges and each of your opponents (minimum of 5 copies required). Each army
list MUST contain the following details: Player Name, Faction/Codex used and have their Warlord clearly designated.
• The Warhammer 40,000 7th Edition Rules and all relevant Games Workshop Errata and FAQs will be used. In the case
of a conflict between a printed and digital versions, the most recent update or FAQ will take precedence.
• Each player must bring a Warhammer 40,000 rulebook, the most currently published rules for all units represented in
their army and all materials needed to play a game/report the results - including dice, measuring devices, templates,
and a writing implement.
• The models used in your army must be WYSIWYG. ( Painted would be nice but not necessary)
• If illegal units or rules violations are found in a player's list, at a minimum, the models in violation will be removed
from all subsequent play. Tournament points may be deducted and award eligibility may be forfeited. TO. rules final.

Hey man,

We regularly play Fantasy at Heroes World on either Sundays or Mondays. I don't think we are gaming this weekend but we can set up a game for next weekend. Let me know if you are interested.

Yeah i just called them. Kind of disapointing as I was really looking forward to a single force org brawl.

do they know when it was postponed to?

Don't think they have said yet, same old problem with 40k tournies everywhere, people refuse to confirm, kind of thing you can't show up for on the day and stores don't want to run 4 man tournaments with 8-10 maybes.

I'm down for Legends on Saturday if anyone else is.

I have about 1500-1850 of IG ready to roll, anyone up for it?
