Well -- does anyone mind if I explore in, and mine from, caverns that are currently unlit, in that area? It sounds like about 3 or 4 of our mines and/or caverns meet up in that area, but nobody is actually building anything significant there yet.

I also do fancy making a small dwarven keep somewhere near the top of that Extreme Hills area, and a tunnel connecting it to the rest of my stuff, if no-one minds terribly. I didn't have a mountain in my land, so had to build one (the link Melissia posted last page) for the Iron Keep to sit on top of.

I tend to not light up much when I explore caves, but I don't really mind if our mines end up meshing together. As long as people try not to get it under my stuff because of the other half of my house being there.

Aye, that one. Would happily make it a joint project, worked on by everyone in the area, if you like - that way, either none of us will think it an eyesore, or all of us will.

And, yeah, I have no plans to mine under your stuff! Just wondered about limit cases -- the place I'm thinking of would look just like someone had wandered in ages ago, placed a few torches, half-heartedly explored, then wandered off again without giving the place another thought... except for the enderchest, which kind of suggests someone had plans for the place but didn't fulfil them.

Edit: Torches. Placed a few torches. Not tortures. Either my mind is finally going, or I secretly think I'm playing Dungeon Keeper.

I hadn't placed any Ender Chests down there, perhaps Doc hit it as well or someone else.

What coordinates shall we build the gladiatorial arena? I was thinking around where dark set me up because it is near spawn (so I've been told)

Do we really need another fething gladiatorial arena? I mean far be it for I to tell you what to do with your property, but it seems like there's two things that people do after joining-- build a giant ugly cobble tower, and build a useless arena that no one ever uses.

Maybe we should build an arena for the arenas to fight in to figure out which one will stay?

really, we only need, and indeed ever really used the first one, on that cobble walkway from suburbia out into the desert. If you want anything other than a normal arena, you could just modify that one (raising the stands to make the top floor be available as a spleefing arena and the bottom as the normal one, for instance)

You know what would be nice? If we had a Smash Brothers arena where the purpose was to try to knock the opponent in to the arena pit, and it is dominated by one wide walkways.

THAT would be interesting, unlike most arenas which are just boring old fights.

Would make knockback weapons a touch more fun.

If there was a "stun" effect weapon, it could be used in combination with TNT's new knockback for the proper Smash Bros KO

As nice as explosive arrows would be I'm sure with the accuracy pretty much everyone has it's kind of a good thing they don't exist.

Explosive to the player, not the terrain. Or make the platform from obsidian. Maybe bow fired ghast charges...

My laptop has been broken for a while and there's been about 30 pages in this thread since I was last keeping track of it. Can anyone sum up anything important, to do with the server or whatnot, since like page 430?
