Guild Wars 2 and family matters (my nephew keeps wanting to play minecraft on LAN) have gotten in the way of me continuing my projects :/

As an aside, I've worked with him to produce this village in flatworld creative:

Spoiler:

He's becoming more mature, thankfully. Only had to force him to repair tnt damage once so far, which is better than some people on Dakka's server.

No cheese-based names from you, Mel? I'm sure you've got some ideas...

What? Is that what the conversation has turned to now? I wasn't paying attention.

Also check the post above, I posted screenshots of what me and my nephew were working on today.

You usually get that when the Minecraft servers are down (I think they were earlier, but are all back now).

Check here when you get that error -> http://help.mojang.com/

No, connection time out is a much more vague error. It could be a problem with your connection, or the server you are trying to connect to could be down, or a firewall at either end might be blocking you.

Tyranid Horde's error is very specific:
Failed to login: java.net.UnknownHostException: session.minecraft.net

I've underlined the important bits - it indicates a problem with Minecraft servers.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.
