Last I saw him, he was in the manor (which has two iron golems), so it's probably mine.

I just want to point out that I only dropped off the fireworks launcher. I did not hear any ticking (because I was using mcedit), nor do I know what your butler is.
The last person I saw messing with ticking machines was Sky_slasher....
Yep, and half of what I needed to start my iron grinder. For all I know he could have found a way out and wandered off while people were messing around there though. All my vegetables in my garden had grown completely from saplings so it would have been a while. Just have to drag in a new on somehow...
Also since heads are just decorative and wither skulls are the only heads available outside creative mode, would it be possible to trade wither skulls for the others?

I'm very tempted to build a fireplace, then mount a player's skull on my mantle...Shrike?

Hmm, as mob skulls are easily obtained through creative mode, I guess I'd be ok with swapping them for wither skulls. However, as player skulls require editing in the NBT value of the player name, then (EDIT: actually don't need importing in mcedit - can just edit a player inventory file) and finally uploading to the server, I think a higher price is required. Perhaps a wither skull and an additional item or two... Or perhaps player skulls should only be rewarded for very specific things, to maintain their rarity?

I thought that said nether "ORCS" for a minute and got very excited.

No but we do have new things like
Redstone Blocks (Finally)
Nether Quartz (Should hopefully make a new set of armor please do this.... So many like utlity items but no powerful items yet :( and thorns so what.)
Nether Bricks!
Nether Brick
Netherrack + coal = nether bricks!
Sun Dialed lamps (can make a circuit where you can inverse so it turns on only at night and off during the day very useful for your villages)

hmm? *innocent face*
I'd quite like some heads of players... maybe if you fight and kill someone in the arena, you receive their head? That'd be a nice incentive to go there nowadays...

More info..... And awesomeness also for mob spawn killer things we can have it all stuck into our chests while we don't have to stay at that location the entire time

I don't see the point of trapped chests- It'd be useful in the old, pre-1.8 minecraft, but as-is, if there's any wiring or such behind or below it, you can see it quite clearly.
This makes me sad as I love the idea of it.

This new update is going to be good for suburbia. Depending on how that hopper works as well with chests the trapped chest can be used for an interesting farm.

in a dark dungeon it might be a clever trap.

true, just would've worked better if chests were a whole block.
also, it's effectiveness depends on how popular it is- if you get them in every house, people will keep an eye out for 'em. If no one uses them because of aforementioned flaw, people won't be looking for them, and it could, possibly, actually make up for its own flaw, because of its own flaw.
Unlikely, but I like the idea
