You need to make a chicken mausoleum down there. Quartz (marble) pillars, granite plinths with coffins on them (surround chests with stone stairs), corpses embedded in the walls (feathers and chickens in item frames)...

GENERATION 8: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

He said that I couldn't grab that much land for myself and said I couldn't build a cobblestone wall that big. If it's not ok then I'll just build a wall around my own area, and Avildude's if he wants me to.

You seem to pick and choose just which parts of what people say you care to take in, and even then you twist how you like. The moderator has told you to stop building that wall and to stay to a smaller area away from others. Apparently not grabbing much land entails that you should build right next to Anvildude, despite there being miles of empty land in the opposite direction. Your complete ignorance to the point that others are trying to make is beginning to get up my nose...

That is why I asked.

I'm pretty sure you suggested where I am. I'm also not that close.

You want to build a wall next to or within other people's land. That constitute's being close to someone. The area that I suggested you move to was deliberately far away from others, you chose however to claim a silly area of land around it. You also happened to choose to expand towards other people instead of in the opposite direction, which happened to not be inhabited.

The answer's no to any expansion towards other players. Any altering of land that's within 300 blocks of another player is a straight up no. Build a house within a 500 x 500 area, far away from others, and quit causing unnecessary drama. Really, your hard headed attitude is just alienating you from other players, which considering that its a social server is something that you really should be avoiding.

You seriously don't get it do you? Generally when people want to do a joint project they do it together, not just "This area is now mine, you have to work with that."

Also, is that your cobble line that surrounds quite a large area around the place you linked? Darkinnit said no to that, you should listen to mods.

Was this always so large? I seem to recall it being a hut the last time I looked. Have you continued to build on Mondo80's land after having been told at least twice to stop? If not, have you bothered to remove your buildings?

I stopped building that a long time ago. If he says it's a problem, I'll remove it.

I'm planning to build public buildings on my land for everyone to use.

I'll expand in the opposite direction, and not move any closer. I'm not trying to cause drama. I'm going to talk to Anvildude and ask if he thinks I'm already to close.

You DO NOT build onto someone else's property without their permission beforehand, which you do not have. Remove it. The last person to do that got a lovely ban.

Honestly dude, you may as well give up. He is quite happy just saying well feth you guys and your advice.

He is happy to do whatever he wants and eventually, it'll lead to a ban at which point I get to scavenge his house

Someone not answering your question as to whether you can build on their land is not the same as them allowing you to. its been acknowledged that you shouldn't have built on Mondo80's land, and yet you haven't bothered to remove your stuff. Instead you've said that Mondo and Anvildude have to tell you to move to get you to, despite that not everyone active on the server reads this thread on account of the Ftb one. Quit annoying other players and take our advice instead of trying to have your way constantly. You're breaking the unofficial rules of the server with your squatting, which though may not get you directly banned, doesn't ingratiate yourself to anyone concerned.

I've read everything you posted. I am being civil and negotiating, yet you are making demands. Have I built too close to you? If any user feels that I build too close to them, and they ask me to remove what I build, I will do so. You cannot speak for other people.

I'll remove the building next to Mondo80's house, since that was accidental and clearly too close.

Please understand why I would want to talk to the player affected directly, rather than have other people who are not affected.

I'm trying to make you aware of the rules of the server. It would seem that you're totally discounting what anyone bar the people who's land on which your squatting on are saying, including the moderator...

I'm not discounting it. I'm listening, and I'm trying to accommodate what you are saying and making sure that I follow the rules. From my perspective, I find it rude to be getting territorial about someone else's land. I won't deliberately settle anywhere close to anyone else, but I want to hear it from the owner that what I've done is a problem before I remove something. It's possible that maybe they won't care if I don't continue to build there, so I'd like to talk to them, not someone else getting angry about someone else's land.

I am not demanding anything, the rules of the server demand it, written and unwritten, civil or not. They speak for all.
You'll find that many people are inactive (as said before) on the vanilla server, and are more active on the FtB server, so someone who you've been living stupidly close to may not be reading this. The people do are trying to help those who'll come back one day and see the mess out their window and wonder where the heck that came from.

No you haven't thankfully.

But here, your eyes appear to be broken.

No? Then get the hell off their Land.

I am more than 200 blocks from Anvildude

If Mondo asks me to remove the structure, than I will. You are being a jerk for being anal about land that does not belong to you.
