Are you on the minecraft server, or the Mod one?

Vanilla. I'd be using the mod server's thread if I wanted resources there

I'm not online right now. Fixing dinner.

Ahh, I didn't realize there was seperate threads.

If you head East from the central spawn point, just follow the cobblestone road to it's end. There's a little shanty right on the other side of the tunnel. Help yourself to the cobblestone inside the chest, and leave whatever you feel is a fair trade.

Which direction here is "east" to you?

East according to the wind rose in the corner.

Towards the bottom right side of the map.

Well, I can certainly say it's a project worth doing, unlike most of my stereotypcially small projects.

It's not how big a project is, just how little it look like ass.

And yeh, you should make it into that.

Would anybody mind if I built a structure on the island at http://www.darkinnit.com/newdakkamap/#/17/64/-1323/-3/0/0 ? There are no tilde signs nearby but i thought it best to check before I started getting set up.

We should organize building a road between our two territories on that continent.

I'm down for that. I was actually considering building a road back to the main spawn point while I was hoofing it back and forth today transporting goods.

I just spent about 10 minutes scrolling in and out on this map. I'd never seen it (I only played Minecraft briefly) - what you guys have done here is insane.

I think the Necron area is my favorite.

Yeah it is quite insane. We should have a dedicated minecraft art thread.

How big is the old map (Gb size?)? Is it a lot to ask to have a world download?

I think that would depend on your definition of awesome.

There is an idea for a build that I'd like to explore but it is unlikely to be particularly large-scale ... unless I get really carried away.

Not WH-themed or pixel-arty though.

Well again it depends on how you're defining awesome doesn't it? But if your definition of awesome is "mega-structure" then no, I can pretty much guarantee that it won't be.
