Its worth noting though that some mods start turning the game into a RAM eater, if you dont have too much its just something to take into consideration, at worst it means you might have to restart it every couple of hours at most.
You will have no problems with vanilla though

There's cobble in the Mountain Crown storage room (same room as the portal so nice and easy to find) I think in the chests just to the right of the forges, help yourself (but please leave me some

You gonna use quartz stairs for the outer layer, instead of full blocks?

Also, be sure to get a Fortune pick for your Quartz mining.

There are signs at the tunnel entrance (I think it's North but don't quote me on that) plus at the junctions along the way.

My Minecraft launcher has automatically updated me to v 1.7.7 but the servers still on 1.7.5. When is the server going to be updated?

The server will update to 1.7.7 on the next reboot (in just under an hour).

So, I got the archeology mod, I set up a Zoo and made a spinosaures enclosure with an big iron gate(They cant break through that) looking out of my living room. well the rest is made of bedrock. I guess they can break through that. So I come back from building the pteranadon enclosure to find they can break through that. My entire mansion was gone.
Oh well, the pleisiasuar is safe after the raptors figured out how to open doors and ate my last one.

How hard is it to get a pickaxe with Silk Touch? I know it was a hassle for me. But since I only needed it for grass blocks it's now useless. Anyone want it? It's got Unbreakable 3, Efficiency 3 and is sitting in the spawn dormitory in a chest on it's own.

... also it's stone.

Or are these things fast and easy to get?

I've been trying to get a silk touch book for months so I can put it onto a diamond pick - is there any way to take enchantments from a tool onto a book?

Its like 13 to 15 emerdals though i cant remember.

What's up with just enchanting diamond picks till you find one? With a grinder it wouldn't take ages, plus you'd have leftover picks with decent enchants every time you don't receive the one you want. I mean don't we all have hundreds of diamonds spare that we could do that kind of thing? =P

I've not quite got the disposable pile of diamonds built up yet

books are lot cheaper for me at the moment

(Mainly because im too lazy to go mining with my fortune pick atm, I prefer building a lot more.)

...Where were you a month ago? I've been grinding for a silk touch stone pick (stone specifically for ease of repair) for months now.

It's not actually that difficult if you have a grinder. If you don't have a grinder, it's rather more.

What's funny about enchanting is if you have an anvil, you can get a guaranteed Sharpness or Efficiency V tool/sword with nothing but level on enchantments- just enchant 16 level 1 picks (or swords) and anvil them together. 2 level 1's to a level 2 is always 7 levels... wait.

Okay, it's not cheaper. But you know what you're getting.

Just enchant books, and use an anvil to transfer it to a diamond pick.

I think my love of redstone contraptions has unhinged me a bit.
I've re-installed the April fools soundpack... (though I did switch the walking and water sounds for their vanilla counterparts, my insanity only goes so far!)

Minecraft server crashed. I pressed the next button on the villager at spawn. look at the inventory slot and it crashed the whole server. Whoops.

My bad guys!

Also I have completed my four towers, and now i am going to try and connect my base to the hub.

sidenote: I wish villagers wanted feathers to buy for emeralds... I have hundreds of them... also is there way to spawn ocelots or no? Because i don't want to spawn any new terrain.
