I have a lot of resources I Have to manage due to the scale and frequency I get items just from tunneling. My god do I get a lot of resources just from creating the tunnels.

I'm going to build a small Banner Building near spawn. Put your chosen Banner in a spot and label it with a sign.

I put a banner down, even if only to steal a design for myself. But while I was there I noticed the light level in the center of the room drops to 6 or 7 so you might want to put carpeted lanterns/glowstone there or something.

What about a chandelier in the centre to make use of some of the height? Looks good though!

Great idea! The banners so far are looking very nice, also good to be able to put names to the designs.

I've plopped a torch in the centre of the room as a temporary measure to deal with the dark spot.

Hm... need to make my own banner someday....

I can't find the right flower for the sun-ish thing, otherwise I've got one.

I put about 20 oxeye daisy in the chest next to the Netherwart patch in the spawn area. I considered planting them but worried that one person might come along and swipe 'em all.

Is it me or is the server lagging?

my game wont let me respawn, move, or get to my death pile. :/

I don't suppose anyone has a slime farm up and running do they?

I know I had a few slime balls in storage but they have vanished ... which almost certainly means that I told someone they could grab them and forgotten all about it.

So a simple/reliable means of grabbing slimes would be lovely.

My basement tends to be rather slimey. I cull them every so often, so I have a decent number of balls.

Do you have a pair you could spare me?

Oh crap, stuff is disappearing from chests? I have a huge storage room of loot. I haven't been online in almost a month.

It's a bug, if you log in with an older version your chests get dumped. And not just yours but any chest in the chunk.

But my stuff didn't get dumped out of the chests, they just weren't there.

It's most likely a bug from the 1.8 upgrade, as the chest storage format has changed. Any chests that had their contents changed in 1.7 are fine, but if you've not changed the contents of a chest in a couple of versions, it might not have survived the upgrade. I have backups, so not to worry.

Okay. I would like the back-ups then... I haven't been on vanilla Minecraft in a long while.

I popped by and it didn't look like you had many at all (so decided not to take the few that you had) ... also only saw one slime spawn while I was there looking around. The architecture was all deeply impressive though! My mind was thoroughly blown.

Is the Guardian farm signposted from the Great North Tunnel? And, is it available for public use?
