I've finally done it! I've managed to trade swords with pigmen

Too bad one of the pigmen dropped his sword in lava... but still I'm happy I got him to drop it.

Another goal completed!

Someone decided to go there a few months ago. You can see a cobblestone structure here. But I haven't seen anything since then.

Though the land and mountain formations are quite nice, it'd be a shame if no one put it to use...

So who wants in on a dragon hunt? I want to kill it soonish for the achievement. or if no one minds, I'll just pop over and kill it real quick

While hunting for wither heads it seems I de-synced and made friends with a blaze while seemingly in another dimension and ended up flying into the lava pursued by fireballs.

I think I recall someone a few pages back talking about building a giant floating island with lots of ruins and dungeons, may have been Wyrmalla I think. Was that on this server, and if so could you please post a link to the location on the map? I'm curious.

I've also now got the heads for a wither fight to make it a bit of a monster slaying marathon.

Yeah it was me. Its still planned, but I'm bogged down with uni work at the moment. A portion of its above my house, though I think I ran out of dirt or something so its not quite so large. , practically speaking I aught to have not built it over land (why do I keep making platforms over my existing homes? They just make the area beneath a mob zone), but well, I guess if I can be arsed I'll hollow that area out into a pit with the existing fort thing sitting on an overhanging edge.

...Ah, but yeah, don't expect any effort to go into that thing right now. =P

My computer died on me right as I started logging back on. I haven't been able to play on my laptop, so it will be a long time before I can play again. You can have it. Should be some stuff in a chest in the cobble structure

Well to be fair the dragon has been killed twice before by the community. Frankly it'll be nice to be able to go to the End now.

We all already have our free head from the first time. Yeah, it'd be nice to have a source of Ender Pearls and Endstone again.

Not everyone spends every moment on these forums to see who's doing what, the least someone could have done was let people know well in advance so others can join in. Yes, the dragon has been killed before, I didn't get to participate in that and that's something I've wanted to do for ages and someone went and did it on their own, if I'd have done that people would have bloody moaned. Not exactly fair now is it?

I have the ability to "swap" versions of the End at any time.

So say someone builds a huge enderman grinder in the end which people love for gathering enderpearls. But then a couple of people decide they want to fight the dragon at the weekend.

I can swap the end back to it's original state (complete with dragon), let the dragon hunters have fun and once they're done, swap the end back to the version that had the enderman grinder built.

Backups are useful

Hey Dark, just found a Zombie Egg horde in some caves beneath my place. Warp to 3873, 51, -42 and bust through the cobblestone wall to the NorthWest.

I'd do it myself, but, well, zombie egg horde.

Has anyone else noticed the prismarine bricks do not show up on the map program.

Yeah, I need to update the Overviewer map renderer to the 1.8 version to pick up all the new block types. I've not had the time lately, but I also thought it good that it's (temporarily) hiding the Ocean monument locations. It makes it a bit more special when people find them.

I will update it soon though, and then it will probably be much easier to spot Ocean monuments.

Yeah I managed to find some time to do it last night. I've noticed that player positions and spawn marker are completely off now though, almost like they're reversed. I think the coords it displays are also off too, but I'm not sure.
