If you're a Dwarf builder then I might need to enlist you help with something. I've been working on making a large underground cavern, it's far from finished, but when I've finished a large enough portion then I want to build a Dwarven type city.

But I Digress! It's not that it's a bad tunnel- it's that it's basically a Direwolf tunnel.

I have some big-ish dwarven city stuff already at Chasmholm, Chasm City, the Iron Keep, etc. But I'm keen to build links to other dwarf strongholds.

Oh, I know, even when I first finished it I wanted people to improve it, someone called it a canvas or some such. That was like, 6 months ago.

Hmm, now I feel like rebuilding the South tunnel. But even less people use South than East. Probably no one.

I might be using South. I really forgot...

I'm not sure what tunnel I'm in, never really payed attention. I don't even have personal portal, I've been mooching of someone else's.

Well the west tunnel is done and I finished 1/2 slabbing the under hub so no more surprise ghast attacks. Which sucks while your building a red stone contraption btw.

Who's making the walls and a proper entrance?

I just used the new rail system for the first time. Well done sir, well done

No idea of worth really. I've collected about 3 stacks just from the slimes that spawn in the dwarven city type stuff I've built. Any big-ish underground locations seem to spawn them eventually. I just keep an eye out, and try to hit them with low-damage stuff rather than weapons, when I see them, so as to maximise slimeball delivery. I probably get about a stack per year, but I don't use them very much!

I'd give you 3 diamonds for some, if there isn't anything else you need more.

Sure, I'll give you a stack for 3 diamonds. Will probably be logging on in a bit. Alternatively come to Chasmholm (Great North Tunnel then follow signs), and I'll leave it in the Trade Room by the portal.

I'd do a diamond per stack as well if you ever run out of his supply. I get a few more than him, since a corner of my basement seems to be a Slime Chunk- since I'm around there a lot (Chasmholm is more spread out) I get a fair number of spawns.

Ralphy built a slime grinder in my basement If anyone wants to camp it. As you come out of my portal turn right (unless you come out facing a tunnel with wool on the sides, in which case turn around ).
Then follow it until you reach a big hole, jump down )or walk down the side) of it to the bottom which is where it is located.

For all of those interested, the Market District at spawn is officially open. There's a quick guide book on the side of a couple paths. Give it a quick read if you're going to build something there.

There's still plenty of open plots, so get'em while they're there!

Also, apparently the hub is village-like enough that we have zombie invasions. They poured through the market while I was making potions.

I remember being able to farm huge amounts of XP by the trade hall before the area got all walled off. Now it looks possible again!
