Is this likely to put zombie pigmen into aggressive mode? I'm not sure of the aggro mechanics on servers but it seems that pigman aggro is universal in the nether, which could prove awkward to folks not using the farm.

According to the wiki it's not universal:

The pit is larger than the range, so it shouldn't affect any pigmen outside.

I'd also like to announce that there will be some scheduled maintenance of the server tomorrow at 10am BST.

The Minecraft server will be down for about an hour while I do some upgrades to the underlying OS.

if there are any problems it could be longer than an hour, but I've already tested everything on a replica system so everything should go smoothly.

Anvil! Kept getting distracted with work, new MC projects, and then MC not working for a bit.

I've actually gone back to the start of my tunnel and gotten work on the full 11x11 size, as I find it more enjoyable than just the dull 2x1 tunneling. But next time I'm on (probably sometime this week, maybe even today) I will head to the end of where I'd got to and start 11x11-ing from there.

Hah! I actually did the exact same thing. Mostly for the cobblestone, though- I've been working on my walls to get rid of some of the backlog of smoothstone I got.

@Asherian- If you want to connect to the Eastern Rail Tunnel, I've been getting to your place through here. There's a cave about there, and if you follow your cobblestone exploratory path down to the ravine, you should be able to find the 2x1 guide route.

I will would be glad to have it network into my area, but I need to make it to my liking as I am quite good redstone I could have it connect by a 'secret passage that basically opens up a new area with a flick of a switch.

Alright, I finally log in again and find half of the chests in my closet are now just completely missing and someone has decided to build some island thing above the pond I built myself. -.-


Edit: Figured out who built it, since they aren't vouched for by me anymore and not even on the server it's fine to just take apart.

Yeah you can do that.

I mean they aren't on the server anymore and are no longer vouched. Thats what I did a while ago. I unvouched someone and tore down one of their buildings because I really didn't want to deal with it.

Weeelll. I happen to have a Glowstone Shop at spawn, 1 Emerald for 8 Blocks, 1 Diamond for 256 Blocks (4 stacks). Though there's only 39 stacks there right now. Someone bought most of it in one go and I had to restock. It's the Green Stall in the market at Spawn.

Sleit, you're mining out all the ores around your tunnel. I thought we were going to leave those in place for decoration?

Also, your tunnel wasn't very straight. I straightened it for you.

The good news, though, is that we're working at the same level, in the same line, and the tunnels are the same size. So they should match up real nice when we finally get them to meet!

So one of the blacksmiths I had died recently sadly he was the last villager I had that sold diamond boots. He was killed by one of my wolves. Somehow the wolf teleported through a wall and killed the villager.

Even though I had basically zombie proofed it, I hadn't though of one of my wolves teleporting through and killing the bloody poor bloke.

Can't really ask for a reset for a stupid decision so yeah, there goes my idea for setting up a diamond armor hub at spawn to sell.

Anvil, sorry -- I thought we were leaving most features in place (caverns, ravines, rivers, lava), but I either didn't realise, or forgot, that you wanted to leave ore in place. I can do it from now on though.

Are you happy with the neatening-up being done with stone bricks rather than regular stone? I like the way it looks.

Perfectly fine by me. And of course, all the ores within the tunnel are free game.

Stone bricks... you mean like replacing floor and walls and stuff? Yeah, I actually like how some of those look.


You know, I went on a little treck, and couldn't figure out where your tunnel actually ends- it seems to go on beyond where you started the embiggening process. Have you been to my side lately? (it's funny, because you had your guide channel one block lower than the tunnel floor, while I had mine one block higher- had me worried for a while about the 3 block difference, but the tunnels themselves will end up matching up.)

Okay I have a question for everyone...

So Me and Anvil were thinking yesterday what to name my area as it has gotten to the point where it is ridiculously huge. And the walls and keep towers being probably the largest parts of my area.

I was trying to think of the name for the area afterwards but eh. We will figure it out.
