The DL tanks are of great interest to me, do they HAVE to have CSMs?? really?

Someone has to have steam marines.

Those guys in black look neat to me, but I've heard the scale is off on dl. Plus after all the money I've put into GW, I'm not gonna do he same with another company, steam or no steam.

at bebop... well cyberpunk... not really that big my cuppa tea here... but to be frank... i even do own a few minis that would fall in that kinda style... so you might enver know...i may paint some up for fun^^

also... i recently got the old necron codex... and every time i see these faceless robots... damn... this is still an army i would like to play and convert around with...

After purchasing 2 necromunda gangs that arrived today, HUH not bloody likely mind you hats of to GW took less than 2 days to get here, never been that efficient before

Sorry had to bail the misses wanted to go out and I needed to pick up a parcel, Orlock and Goliath had some ideas for these ages ago so thought I better buy them while I can

due to an art related school project hobby work went down to zero^^...but i am still building something... some buildings and a big advertising pillar...around 40cm high...^^

oh... and my wife had a big clear out in her kindergarten... lots of cool stuff... hardboards... wooden stuff in neat pieces... lots of useful stuff i can work with to make new terrain!

all this is leading me to think again about making an airship soonish^^

Vik I saw an zeppelin model at the local hobby shop and thought of you. The box was at least 3' long, and was just crying to be converted. I just need to win the lottery to buy it.

Another cool idea would be to make your next project out of one of these. Of course winning the lottery is necessary for these also.

Both controlled by you ipad or iPhone. The drone would be extra cool. Set it on the table with your models on it then take off. Has a built in camera so you could see from the pilots perspective.

LOL... yeah... we had a mini helikopter but it broke...these would quailify your modeling vows tho... making models with real functions...

my models never would be able to take off tho... way too heavy are my builds^^

the zeplin kits of maybe revell i have had quite often in my hands... and recently for a friend i looked for scratchbuild gyrocopters... and one fella in the wolrd wide webs made a bigger gyro-something based on such a (scale 1:144 i think?) zepplin kit...

The heavy steam armor from Dystopian Legions look like chaos marines, and their scale would make them menacingly huge due to mutation!

From an artistic view go for Eldar - their shapes and proportions are much more exotic and dynamic to touch and paint with. Along with multi gender models it is a fantastic range. They are also due for an update soon.

Well, that's just confirmed as the academy line as of now, but we can certainly hope they go all out with a new steampunk IP!!

As an educational line, all they need is the style and aesthetics, LEGO itself naturally lends itself to steampunk invention goodness.

absolutly... i have seen so many sterampunk lego stuff... it is a mriacle they haven´t stepped on the bandwagon yet already...

Did they make a Lego Sherlock Holmes? Because Robert Downey jr. Lego Sherlock would be awesome. Plus the period clothing would fi nicely as well.
