Funny you speak of the Osprey...

So after a looooong time,i had 2 Stormraven and 1 Razorwing Kit lying around...(yup Kits just lie around casualy in my home).

I've decided to do something out of it!

Behold!!!,the World Eaters Thunderhawk!







Yeah i chopped the Osprey to bits to use it as the principal frame for the TH.

Yup my case isn't going better..., i take my pills i swear!...

Still lots of work to do on it,but it begin to come along nicely.

Little more work done on the Thunderhawk.



So i integreted the Razorwing wing into the TH wing


Also did the flying base for the TH.

Used the very large Zombie Dragon base and the two flying stands,it is balanced and secure this way.

Also added some other stuffs.

More work done on the Thunderhawk

Smoothing the front skull and hull togheter with gs.





Also added the front Heavy bolters.


While the flying base i did is neat and pretty much stable,when i do move the thing around,i can feel the arse of the Thunder moving a bit.

So i had to find a way to avoid this and replicate the fixation that is under the Stormraven hull,but the back section,the SR hull is upside down..

And so i don't have acces to the fixation cross.

The solution came yo me while i whas suffling through my bits boxes!


Yup a simple Rhino hatch!



When trimed like this with the round scrap filer,its fits perfectly!



And now once placed under the TH hull,it is more stable and the things arse isn't moving around anymore!

Comes nicely along!

So i began to paint the TH.

I'm motivated for the time being,so i don't want to loose my momentum!

Well i din't really do much for now.







Just laying the first coat of Mechrit Redand did the Skull with is "Warp" green eyes,giving it a more creepy look!

Gotta say i really out did myself on this one,i'm really glad looking at the result.

And it did go rather quickly "only" 7 hours of work(well not straitgh...on 2-3 days time laps)

Me?,good,good, after been on Skyrim for 15days straigth i decided to work a bit on what i had on my Worktable.

And this month with the new Necrons, i did get my pawns of one of those Ghost Arks.

Thought to myself that this kit had the pieces i needed for my Chaos Reaver!












Still needs work,but i think i've gonna have fun with him!

You need to build Khorne himself...it must be done.

Look what i've found in my FLGS this morning!!!









He so gonna get converted..., my bit boxes was laying there for the past 8 months..., i'm all itchy to cut and glue...

So was bored as hell at work, and i had my heldrake kit with me in the car...

So yeah i began assembling it...at work, oh don't worry about the boss,...its me!!!







Also placed a Rear thruster from a DE raider to fill the gap and make it look like a bit more of an actual Flyer thruster...

Ok so i finished one of the wings, had to test a bit the placement and improve the solidity of it







The cool thing with the screws is that you can change the position of the wings the way you fancy!



I'm really happy with it.

Some work on the other wing and placed the arms.

Now let me introduce you to someone else!

The Skull/Blood/Khornefiend( yup din't decid for a name for him yet)







So yeah i modeled it to be modulare, so i've i want to use it as a Dakka Forgefiend, i put the two hades cannons on the flanks, if not i replace them with the magmacutters or mecaflagellums.

Used an Imperial statue for the base, i feeled like with his up-open hand, he needed to grab something, or to put it onto something, been a while that i wanted to use an Imperial statue like this.

Still not sure about the head though, its a mock up, so nothign definitif, but i'm gonna try other stuffs maybe.

So seeing how cool a flyer actually is, it gave me motivation to achieve my Chaoseagle kitbash!







I just love the mean and threatning look the Heldrake wings gives.

A lot more work to do, but its nicely comming along.

So i did a bit more work on the Chaoseagle, added Horns on the skull, a dorsal spine and GSed the holes.


Also added another deamonic face on the top of the flyer.


Still work to do and things to sculpt.

Loving your work! But I have to say that daemonic face looks an awful lot like Eddie

Thanks, well the face is only a littel part from the Khorne Icon that FW did a few years back.

i was lucky enough to be among the last people who could buy it from them, before they ended the production of those, wich is a shame.

So yeah i suspect the guy who sculpted the Icon to be an Iron Maiden fan.



SO now the nearly completed Chaoseagle, at 90% shall we say.







Weapons are interchangeable, this way i can play Multimelta and Missiles or Lascans, Reaper AC.

Oh right I didn't know that. But that wouldn't be a surprise to me, the stores are always playing decent metal over the speakers and I have had likewise conversations with both customers and staff. After all, the 'Eavy Metal team did get it's name from the music
