Almost done with my first Rogue Trader playthrough, Iconoclast route with no DLC. I just need to fight the last battles on the last planet.

I'm definitely going to pick up the DLC and do a second playthrough. Probably go heretic and see what difference that makes.

Nice! Let me know what you think of the Iconoclast ending epilogue "montages". I was Iconoclast in my first complete playthrough and those montages made me think I made some things so much worse in the Expanse. Not at all what I intended, but that's 40K for you. It was also early in the games life, so it might've been giving me the wrong info at the end.

I have been meaning to do another playthrough with the latest DLC, but it hasn't been in the cards.

Wrapped up the last of it tonight and I liked it, but (major spoilers ahead)
Spoiler:
I was honestly a little confused by the end slides - so the Imperium comes to crush our little sector because the rogue trader gave people basic rights, but I also maxed Navy loyalty so the Imperium loses the space battle because so many captains sided with me. So did things get wrecked or not?

The ultimate fate of the expanse seems kind of ambiguous with how it's written. Like there's the threat that it'll eventually be crushed but so many of the slides are like "because of the newfound freedoms these planets prospered for many years".

I had been spoiled on it previously, but I was also unhappy with Pasqual killing Yrliet. I tried to really play towards my RT's mechanicus origins by being friendly with any AdMech, but that just seemed like a dick move on his part.

The rest of the companions were pretty satisfying, I liked that Idira seemed to enjoy her life even if it was brief because of her uncontrolled psyker-ness. I liked that Argenta got a fitting end in battle. I romanced Jae so that turned out great, even if she eventually gets assassinated at least she had a good life with her loving partner. Abalard got to retire, and we even got a good send off for the crew NPCs like the voxmaster.

Overall I'm pretty happy with how things ended up.

Ya, the confusion and mixed signals on some of the ending slides really annoyed me. I guess it wasn't an early game bug and just a feature.

I think they wrote themselves into a tough spot. I get wanting a third option for dialog so you're not stuck with cartoonish villiany or boring status quo, but you can't give a 40k game a happily ever after ending.

Despite that the last few fights left me psyched for more. I'll probably start a heretic playthrough this weekend.

Finally beat Witcher 3. Only took... *checks post dates* a bit over a month! Going to give it a week or two before I move on to Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions.

An overall very enjoyable game and I see now why it's been so highly regarded for the last decade. I must say that I did get a bit "lost" at times. The sheer breadth of quests available and things to do over such massive maps more then once left me a bit "out of mind" if you will, about what it was I was actually meant to be doing (that is rescuing Ciri and defeating the Wild Hunt).
And in Skellige I definitely fell into the trap of hunting down all those damnable "?" out at sea. I was hoping for some sea based monsters, or roving hostile pirates, or cool underwater caves to explore. Instead it was just smugglers cache after smugglers cache after smugglers cache. I won't be drawn into the next time around.

I'll be waiting for the 4th game to drop and the newest book to be translated into English before I go through all the games again. But I'm pretty keen.

Don't wait with the expansions, they are excellent. Many full games don't have as much well crafted content as these. They also offer much needed increase in difficulty (one of the few games the base game lacked).

The wait before I go back to them is a self imposed punishment. I've been a bit naughty last week or so, and have been neglecting some assignments I've got to complete for a training course I'm doing at the moment. Nothing critical, but need to be done none the less. So yeah, no more fun stuff for me until I've caught up with them.
I've even packed away all my paints and models until I've gotten back on track.

I am looking forward to the expansions though, and NG+. Difficulty was one thing I noticed lacked as well though. Aside from two particular "guarded treasure" enemies, a golem and a leshen, who were so well above my level that I just couldn't last against them, nothing really gave me much trouble in the way of combat, so a boost in enemy toughness would be nice to see. Even the camps of lvl30+ fallen knights weren't that tricky. And I would have been probably lvl 16/17 when I did them Probably helped though that I had the Wild Hunt Axe. That thing's got crazy armour penetration.

Fire Emblem Three Houses.

My first playthrough I did the White Snow route. Then Azure Moon. And I'm most of the way done with Verdant Wind.

Tried doing the Crimson Flower route, and the choice to join with Edelgard did not come up like it did in my first playthrough. It turns out that there's three requirements for Crimson Flower. You need to get a C+ support with Edelgard, then you need to do the coronation with Edelgard, then you need to talk with Edelgard once per month at the monastery. That last one most people do not bring up. So, had to start yet another game for that.
