I finally caved and ordered the Halo: Anniversary. Should be getting it next week.

Until that time, I'm switching off between Skyrim and Dead Space.

Planetside 2, now that the latest patch has allowed my GPU to start working right- finally getting around 15 FPS- was at, like, .5 before.

xcom with slingshot dlc, it is disappointing but I support the game. May go back to UFO defense so I can recreate my xcom empire.

AC3 is a pretty slow start but I'm getting into it more now. I'm surprised but naval battles have become my favorite part so far.

Picked up Fallout New Vegas game of the year edition. Was initially extremely shocked by how bad it was but i am getting into it now. The game plays alot better in the indoor sections imo, they are quite tense and brutal. The dialogue is well written and surprisingly convincing despite Oblivion's hideous graphics/animation.

I actually really hated Fallout 3, iirc i never played it again after dying for the first time about 2 hours in. It just seemed so bland despite the inherent zaniness of the fallout license, it was also missing the fantastic writing of the previous games. If i'm honest i don't even really like the whole Kitsch 50's Americana thing either which isn't that helpful.

I agree with the 50s theme. It was tolerable for FO1,2 and tactics because the graphics were ancient and the games were excellent(especially tactics). Part 3 was extremely grim looking and the wasteland got old quick in addition to bug central. That said I played the daylights out of 3 and the dlcs, I got/played NV but still need to get GOTY for the dlcs.

Mixture of World of Tanks, Planetside 2, World of Warcraft, got the new xcom for xmas, but not got around to firing it up yet.

All of these are distracting me too much from tabletop rpg, I'm supposed to be dm'ing a new campaign in 5 days

Beat Assassin's Creed 3. The plot just really falls apart in this one. The most evil person in it is George Washington so why am I helping him? Several changes were made to the play controls that just messed up everything too.

picked up Anno 2070 on steam. not bad, pretty fun but the games take days to complete. the tax income fluctuates so much its hard to pin down a strategy at the moment. Im on the second to last scenario mission and im -2k credits for upkeep. so I started a new single mission game to see if i can the hang of not dying to upkeep problems.

I have a bad habit of playing about 20 games at the same time.

At the moment:

FarCry 3
Hitman: Absolution
Skyrim
Mass Effect 3
Uncharted 2 (yes, I know I'm behind times here. Only just bought a PS3)
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS
Terraria
FTL
Binding of Isaac

and probably more that I've forgotten... I really need to start completing one game at a time.

I'm resumed my game of FFXIII just for the sake of finishing it, but I'm really struggling to find the motivation to get to the end despite being on the last disc.
For me it's the most badly misjudged game in the main series since the Playstation era, and I hope they make drastic alterations for the next standalone entry (XV?).

Haha great minds think alike. Started Path of Exile last night and LOVE it. Brilliant game.

Dungeonland on the other hand was quiet the letdown. Cool game, cool idea, but an absolutely bug infested mess. Not going to touch it for like a month till they work out the networking issues.

I got a regular copy of New Vegas free when my wife got 2 other games. I'm playing it on the 360 and got the majority of the achievements on one playthrough, with a few save and loads for the various faction related achievements. I'm currently trying to do a speed run for the Hardcore achievement. It's a good game but the bugs in it don't do it any favours (random freezes, saves that won't laod, necessary NPCs going missing etc.). Right now the game hasn't persuaded me that the DLC is worthwhile.

Same. I had a good time with it, but found myself tapping the trigger to block/counter a few times. This is the first AC game where Ive gone with a heavy weapon (the axe) so that was fun.

On the new Need for Speed: Most Wanted now. Its pretty damn good so far. Just smashing cruisers with the SVT Raptor.

I find it so hard to just run down a street without just climbing up random crap. I think if you hold B it stops that but then how is that better than just not holding A like you used too? Bah!
