Just finished Bioshock Infinite. I guess the smart things would be another go in the 1999 mode but there's so much to play and so little time. I'll probably either continue with Metal Gear Rising or Tomb Raider

Fighting the urge to reinstall and play through Bloodlines again. My last one was cut short by my hard drive going all 'splody, and I'm getting the jones again - but I still haven't even gone to Solstheim yet, so I can't quit on this Skyrim character. Appalonia the Redguard will be victorious in this Dragonborn dance off!

Vampire Bloodlines? Great game, I heard there was an amazing community mod out for it that made for even more great gameplay!

Yup, and yup. I've played it with a few different Mods - the Camarilla Edition and the Clan Quest Mods, if memory serves. They both add to the game. I think if I do reinstall I'm going to try out The Final Nights, which is a much newer offering built onto the Camarilla Edition mod that I haven't tried yet. It looks pretty good.

Yeah! That's the one I was hearing good things about, and I really loved Bloodlines, played the hell out of it. Really fantastic soundtrack too, still listen to it on my iPod.

Looks kidn of generic.

It's open world so not really generic FPS. Also, it's pretty actually. Nice tropical island.

Dunno. I watch videos and look at screenshots and I just get this vibe of "I've played this before" despite not owning it.

Actually I think I know why... it looks basically like Just Cause 2, except in a first person perspective.

And a white guy instead of a hispanic guy.

I'm sure it has a lot in common with Just Cause 2 which I haven't played much of. They like to try to sell it as "Skyrim with guns". I don't know about that but generic FPS to me means something like COD which it ain't.

Well yeah, Medal of Duty: Call of the Battlefield is about as generic as you can get.

You mean the Graphics? The Gameplay is the strongest part of the game for me, i find jungles/tropical islands to be somewhat visually unsatisfying. The script and Voice acting (though not, however, the actual story) deserve an honourable mention, the best since Red Dead imo. I really hope they set the next one somewhere more unique, i thought maybe an abandoned Eastern bloc industrial Town filled with immigrants fleeing a war would be a cool setting, have that kinda derelict beauty of Prypriat.

on the forum. Obviously

Playing XCOM: Enemy Unknown on Classic Ironman.

It's bloody hard, and glorious

And unlike the originals, nowhere near as cheesy.

No. I was thinking of gameplay and story. But FC3 has reasonably good graphics.

Bioshock Infinite. Enjoying this one massively.
GTA: Vice City. A £1 charity shop bargain; never played it all the way through previously.
Dino Crisis. Will be interesting to see how this PS1 era Capcom survival horror stacks up against their Resident Evil games. The raptors are quite large.

Started Episode 1 of The Walking Dead last night. Its not too bad so far but the controls and movement just seem really clunky to me.

I just finished the second episode and am enjoying it. Looking forward to the next, and I did not think I would appreciate it much.

It did take a bit of getting used to though.

Now I am not sure what to look forward to and will probably go back and replay some of the collection.
And probably reread parts of this thread for more inspiration.

I was also somewhat doubtful of Farcry 3 - and the story does get a bit. . .wonky at times; it was great fun however.

I think that part of it is that I play with my Y axis inverted and I can't change to that. Well, that and the movement

Ahh. . .my lady has the same problems with steering in games
She seems to have little issue with the controls in the Walking Dead though.
Did not think about that until now.
Have to ask her.

At least its not as bad as the flying in Halo 4. I didn't see the flight settings and invert Y inverted the flight invert (Yo Dawg, I heard you like invert) so in a 4 player co-op I was decisively bringing up the rear

I still stand that RDR is one of the best games I've ever played. I've played through at least 5 times. I just wish the online was better

On Topic, I'm not playing anything new, but I'm watching Avatar: The Last Airbender, and I wish they would make a good game off that series...

It's fun-I put my review up on it already. Tell me what you think once you get around to it.

Also going through Ultimate Vault Hunter mode with my lady in Borderlands 2 - aiming for 61!

Surprisingly fun; we played enough laps there was some concern.

Slag is downright amazing now.

Cleaned the dust off my Wii and I started replaying the Metroid Prime trilogy. I loved the first two on GameCube, but the re-release of them on Wii was a fantastic idea.

The same sections of Bioshock Infinite over again, thanks to some glitch that always loads up the hall of heroes from the continue option. I can choose to load the start of a chapter but it means I have to be careful about when I abandon a game; what a nuisance.
