I actually prefer Dragon Age 2 to Origins. It was blatantly rushed and there are some significant problems with it but there are some very nice touches and the narrative moving through time rather space is something that I thought worked well. I have tired to play Origins 3 times now and each and every time I have gotten bored at around the same point, when I start the 3rd main quest before the Landsmeet.
I have started playing Planetside 2 again thanks to my sparkly new PC and I have been slowly playing through Age of Wonder III as well, its basically AoW 2 but prettier.

The prefect example of someone missing the point.
Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.

Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

Playing some Hawken, the game's pretty good and looks great. It's a real shame there's no rumble though, it's a strange omission. Next Car Game has excellent rumble and it's in pre-Alpha.
Oddly Hawken gives my PC more of a workout than BF4. With BF4 i can be playing it for several hours and my PC will only be warm, Hawken gets it almost worryingly hot, I think my Graphics hit about 70-odd degrees.

How are you finding PS2? I'm stuck with 6 more moths of subscription due to a bookkeeping error on my part... I never have time but I've been trying to get myself to boot it up again.

Quite good actually. Its a little zergy and there are some annoyances but its so easy to hop between hotspots that you can generally find a good fire fight quickly.

I'm getting trolled by the Zelada Port Authority. First they tell me to go to pad 5, then switch to pad 12 just as I'm going into final descent, and then they almost fine me for loitering!

Space Engineers. Survival mode is out and it's pretty good so far. But without enemies it's kind of lonely by yourself.
I'd like to try it in multiplayer mode.

Try turning on the Meteors. They're plenty of enemy.
I was trying a quick survival game- figured "Oh, I'll turn everything on- I've played Minecraft, I can survive!" . then a meteor blew up my refinery before I had even found nickel.

Picked up operation flashpoint on the ps3 for £2
It's fun if a little brutal. Sadly giving an order to a single squad mate seems impossible. There is an opinion to do it but when you do everyone else tries to do the same thing.
Enjoying it though been wanting to play a decent tatical shooter for a while but arma is a little much.
I still want another tactical (so not Vegas) entry into the rainbow six franchise or ever better another SWAT game.

It's a refreshing change from your standard military shooter. Reminds me of the older ghost recon and rainbow six games.
If anyone has it on ps3 I will be happy to have a game. It was 2 quid from game.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

Either way could somebody please tell me? I'm trying to find the game based on the picture by doing a reverse search but for some reason whatever I did turns up other images some of which are p*rn. Yeah and some of it is weird too. I mean I know lynata's german but d*mn.

I actually thought it might be a quote from the game's story somehow. That said i might have thought it had to do with the game's title. Can't remember if i figured that much or was just totally thrown off by it as embarrassing as that might be. Either way i suppose I make a good fool  .

I just remembered FTL has a new (free) expansion. So far the cloning bay is giving me the giggles at the possibilities, and the fact that I got a ship upgrade from an event tells me there may be quite a lot of awesome packed in.
