A buddy kept talking to me about starbound so I bought it over the weekend. Seems like terraria on steroids and it's still in development. Think it'll be a good little time waster for sure.

The first starcraft game. Dunno why I feel like playing it but sure enough I am. Hopefully I get past the zerg campaign soon because zerg were always my least favorite of the 3 factions.

Adjusted it for you.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

I have been playing that a bit lately too. Pretty fun. I also tried starmade, it's very alpha, but it's very fun.

I finished Wolfenstein yesterday, its actually quite decent for a 'mindless' shooter. Some issues with it, namely health sponge enemies, but it managed to create some emotional depth that it entirely absent from the vast majority of big name FPS games. Its ending is quite stupid although as usual it left scope for at least some DLCs.

Battlefront 3 is currently free on Origin so I gave it ago, its single player is positively wretched. Stupid QTEs, card board cut out baddies and distinctly poor enemies. Its multiplayer is quite fun but it is rapidly losing its lustre.

Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.

Battlefield 3, not Battlefront....

Important distinction as Battlefront 3 is currently under development.

Not on the 360 or PS3, mind you, but on the systems it was actually designed for. The 360/PS3 versions are late production ports, done in a rush by DICE LA.

I don't own a console.

These games all follow a very similar template. 40k is quite a good analogy actually, minor changes between releases yet pretty poor overall.

I took a break from Watch Dogs to finish The Last of Us. Mostly because I loved the game but super side tracked when I was nearing the end. I really should have just done it, I was only 2 hours from the end.

Xenonauts was released yesterday so I am saving the world (again). Its a far more faithful remake of X-Com than Firaxis managed.

Civilization 5.

Feth everything/everyone; I have no idea what I'm doing!

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I'm probably going to wait to do any real building in star bound until it releases, so nothing gets wiped. Having enough fun exploring sector X working through the various qualities of ore and so on. When the game IS fully released... gonna build the gak out of the wiring and skyhook stuff.
