The burning pits of Hades, also known as Sweden in summer
No, Gul'dan is an enemy but he has yet to be a raid boss. Instead, he orchestrates various dungeon/raid enemies and you encounter him during several quest chains.
He is a really, really good villain.
Edit: He looks like this.

F**king xenonauts. I played a game where there was alien commanders with mind control and a freaking ethereal wanna be called a praetor. At one point they mind controlled 2 of my guys at the same time. Also just to give you an idea of how BS is this unlike xcom: enemy unknown when your guys get mind controlled they get to fight in the enemy turn so you don't even know they'll be mind controlled and the enemy can do so once in a while all the way across the map. Add to that the enemy at one point mind controlled my super rocket guy and then shot and killed 3 of my guys (out of 12) including the super rocket guy at the beginning of the base fight and things just went downhill from there. When you think about it a good chunk of my deaths were from alien mind controlled units. It's just such BS i have to worry about my own guys. I may as well throw up a constant smokescreen to advance through in case my guys turn on each other but i'd run out of smoke in no time. Oh and i also lost at least one guy to a dude berserking.
So yeah i basically restarted that mission and saved it. Hopefully there aren't as many casualties next time. That said if nothing else keeping my guys far apart whenever my super heavy rocket dude has a loaded weapon is a good idea as well as possibly smoke (then again the explosion is so big it's almost worthless.
Seconding Transistor. It's a piece of art and one of the best games we have ever played. Both me and my wife love it. The art is jaw-droppingly amazing and the story is told in such a mature and elaborate way...it's art. Period. Enjoyable, interactive art. This is how an "artsy" video game should be like, an actual game with actual gameplay packed in a superb presentation, not hyprocritic crap like Gone Home or Dear Esther. Transistor is pure art.
Today has been devoted to world Of tanks, lord knows its rather "amusing" to be the last tank standing when you drive a relativly newly aquired French heavy tank. But thankfully I did survive, it helped that the last two foes where realtivly ligthly armoured AT vehicels, so quite a few of their shots bounced of my front armour.
But I think I will invest in a medium caliber gun rammer for increased reloading speed and advanced optics so that I can spot foes faster and take apropiate measures accordingly.
Ok, earlier in the thread I complained jokingly that everyone in Europe is having affairs with everyone. (Crusader Kings 2)
It's actually become a problem. Like a "wait for a patch to fix this nonsense" problem. Like, my game is constantly being interrupted by the same three people trying to seduce me, making it impossible to get anything done. Every woman my character marries is instantly seduced, and becomes pregnant with their seducer's child. I tested it with console commands. I mean, I don't even mind the affairs, I just need a legitimate heir!
The other life paths do not seem to be this event intensive. I am not constantly barraged by a hail of white stags every two weeks if I am a hunter.
Last purchase of the holiday season: Tropico 5. A bit disappointed in the reduced customization options when it comes to non-appearance based things (Tropico 4 spoiled me perhaps), but the game itself looks well polished so far, and the gameplay mechanics are nicely done.

I got around to getting Beyond Earth, an hour in I'm not very happy with it. The old tech tree made sense and you could see a tangible benefit from heading down a road, it all seems a bit messy and overly complex to me at the moment.
We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

Got the full-DLC version of Saints Row 4 for the holidays. Been playing that a lot. I like how the developers decided to keep the game fresh by turning it into a superhero game, instead of sticking with the GTA clone formula (which the games originally were). The last time I stole a care was like twenty minutes into the game. I've been super jumping everywhere since then.
Also, I picked up Skyrim on Steam. I've played it extensively on PS3 already, but I'd run out of things to do on PS3 (well, I suppose I could actually do the main quest, but who the feth wants to do that?). With the switch to playing on PC, I can use mods to add even more things to do to avoid having to play the main quest!.
Emperor's Eagles (undergoing Chapter reorganization)
Caledonian 95th (undergoing regimental reorganization)
Thousands Sons (undergoing Warband re--- wait, are any of my 40K armies playable?)

I can imagien it, oh the horror of being a king
You want horror? Immediately after I posted that, the Duchess of Brabant tried to murder me. And then the game crashed.
I can't decide if I want to play that game (Saints Row IV i mean) or not... It looks either just crazy enough to be awesome or just a notch too crazy for me to be able to enjoy it. Hard to say from just the videos.

I think that Saint's Row IV is a blast. The story is over the top and silly fun, and the super hero mechanics work really well, and make traveling around the city a pleasure, rather than a bore. It's one of my favorite of the open world sandbox city whatever games.
