I'm actually nearly done with everything in Fallout 3. I have the pit DLC to do, and I've got to finish up 1 or 2 quests. Then I can finish exploring all the locations and complete broken steel. after that I'm starting all over. Yay Fallout 3! I might buy new Vegas but only if I can get a language filter mod and find it on sale.

Still on Robocraft. Been about 10 days, T8 now. It is still fun, although I am really feeling the grind.

Talisman on my Kindle Fire. I have the existing expansions, too. Fun game! Unlike the board game, you can win this in about an hour, but it's probably closer to 1.5 hours.

If you're feeling it's grindy, try going back a tier or two and changing up your bot's playstyle. Do something silly, or different to what you normally do.

I'm playing Warband : mount and blade, I'm onto my 4th mod and have somehow logged 350 hours already. Obsessed much?

It has to be my favourite game ever, and the mods are just awesome. I bought Carribean and will have to give it a play when i can tear myself away from Westeros!

I was really getting into prophesy of pendor for mount and blade but I kind of ran out of endurance for othe long haul... it was gonna take a long ass time to win.

Been trying to find something to play. Tried fallout new vegas, not feeling it at the moment, back to the drawing board.

on prophesy of pendor i'm up to about day 789 and i think i could win in under 2 weeks, i still have to finish that one. Maybe this weekend. I still think it's the best mod out of the 4 i have played.

I tried fallout 3 but get a randoom crash after about 3 mins of leaving the bunker. kinda dissapointing and disheartening.

I think I'm maybe just 300ish days in on my save. Will have to transition from working for a faction to running my own which sounds like a headache and i'm soon to loose my bonus freetime so I gave it a rest for a while.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Nosgoth. Wow, a non-pay-to-win multiplayer game with an interesting concept and you actually being able to unlock stuff by playing without playing 200+ matches for one item.

It also has an aesthetic that makes it completely unappealing to a sane person.

Doing great with xcom: enemy within on impossible ironman. I finished the french psychic girl's missions and have done all of zhang's missions. At this point i'm dealing with abductors but i have full carapace armor, some plasma weapons (including a plasma sniper, plasma rifles, plasma pistols and light plasma rifles). I now have ammo conservation and plenty of other things. All the remaining countries have been covered by satellites. I'm handling exalt ok and they only have laser weapons. I have so many labs right now even a blaster launcher would only take between 5-8 days to research. All of the officer training school things are researched, most foundry options available are done and my B team is pretty much fully genetically modified. I will use them while i start to genetically modify my A team.

Liking something else = insane. Someone in here is...close-minded...

The game's art style is pre-determined by the lore it's based on, i.e. the Kain series, and it perfectly captures said imagery. Whether you like it nor not only matters to you, as with every personal opinion.

Europa Barbarorum 2, the mod was released a few months ago but I've only now got around to playing it. If you're a fan of total war games pick it up, it's a total mod for medieval 2 total war. I've already convinced my Greek people that I am a God incarnate, and have crushed the surrounding area. Other people flock to my nation.

I've been playing dwarf fortress too, I hate/love that game so much.

Sound like a bog-standard day in Skyrim to me!

"Ask ten different scientists about the environment, population control, genetics, and you'll get ten different answers, but there's one thing every scientist on the planet agrees on. Whether it happens in a hundred years or a thousand years or a million years, eventually our Sun will grow cold and go out. When that happens, it won't just take us. It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." Haha, love that game! I could never find anything ever since they updated the quest system, so I've stopped playing adventure mode.

The trick in finding things is to talk to people in a mead hall, and ask them to give you directions. It's... a pain, compared to the old version, because you have to ask for directions to each cave and labyrinth and lair separately, but it works!

And the fun thing it also does is it marks those locations on the map in fortress mode, which is the main reason I'm doing it. Gonna start a fort on top of a minotaur's labyrith.

I've always thought it would be interesting to get a group of 7 highly skilled warriors and start a fort in the middle of a goblin civilization/town.

Just picked up 'The Incredible Adventures Of Van Helsing' for my iMac. From what I've played (around 2hrs), it's a polished fun ARPG. I'm looking forward to seeing more. Although from what I've read it's really quite short. Around 8-10 hours for the main story, which for an RPG is not that long.

Still, I bought the second one as well this morning, so that should keep me going

So xcom enemy within is going great. Game is basically in the bag at this point. A ton of colonel level soldiers and some spares in case something happens. Only bad thing that happened is my support got killed off. Other than that things have been going well. I even have two blaster launchers now, 4 firestorms and pretty much everything. My main squad is also almost completely genetically modified so that's great too. Oh and i recovered the ethereal device so i'm basically near the end of the game. I had to face a battleship with one of the firestorms and it destroyed the battleship (though it took a lot of damage) and i basically beat that mission without any squad deaths.

So yeah for the most part within the last 2-3 game months of the game i haven't had any serious problems. I mean i did have the 4 sectopod terror mission which took out 3 of my guys but only one was a colonel (support colonel) and while it sucked i got back on my feet (even if a lost support is a big deal).

Been playing Total War Attila for some time now as the Sassanid Empire, got all but a few provinces in the middle east and all the lesser kingdoms like Armenia and the like are vassal states to my empire. The Eastern Roman Empire has been wiped out at last after a series of extremly bloody battels in Tracia and on Crete, now I am facing of against an allaince of Goths, various smaller kingdoms and the Roman seperatists of the west. Having lost three full armies of very experienced men and cavalry, so therefor I have had to redeploy fresh armies from the east to face these new foes. Hopefully my remaing two armies in Tracia can hold back the tide until reinforcements arrive

Way back, last time I played it the Type 88 seemed to have the best mix of "stats" As in, it was decently accurate enough, with plenty of rounds per second (speed), and it had a pretty large ammo capacity. With all the bells and whistles that can be added on, it makes for a fairly good platform for shootin' up stuff

I might go back and give it a whirl. I ended up running either the M246, the LSAT, or the other magazine fed LMG (not the starting one)
