I just played the first part of Project Brazil. It's really good, there are some things that are a bit buggy, but it's super high quality for a fan-made thing.

Currently i think i have video game ADD. No game feels very appealing right now. I've been playing shadowrun returns dragonfall but then switched to Grey Goo. The human and Beta factions are super similar except in base building.
Personally i can't wait for 'Act of Aggression' since it seems like 'Act of War' and i never got to play 'Act of War'. Then there's 'Total War: warhammer' which couldn't disappoint me worse than 'Age of Sigmar' has for fantasy.
Right now i'm wondering if i should try Galactic Civilizations 3 or maybe Xcom: enemy within again. If i go for xcom my neighbors will know because of all the loud cursing i'll be doing.
It'd be hilarious to try out stealth archer again in skyrim. I should just hide in some shadows and pick off guards randomly if i get bored. Wonder if they'd even notice. The funniest thing to do is take a stealth potion and gear and fight a dragon with it. The dragon won't be able to find you and usually they're the best at spotting you. It's totally possible to shoot a dragon via stealth until it goes down and wracking up stealth criticals while doing so.

I always thought one-shotting the giants with a dagger was amusing. Or max stealth where you do the pooch shadow thing in the middle of a pitched fight was kind of hilarious.
When I start tagging guards out of boredom I usually try to step back and reassess if I should be playing another game .
There was a mod that added in needs like water and food, one of the additions allowed wood elves to be cannibals and harvest people for meat. The cool thing is that gives you two damage granted items so you can always have poison wee.

A magic assassin that abused daggers, invisibility and sneak is the most fun character I have ever played in any RPG. You can just waltz straight into a room of hostile NPC's, and proceed to slit all of their throats one by one.
Took a long time though to earn enough perks to make the build work, assuming you're not cheating. I used to go a certain Dwemer ruin with a burst steam pipe, cast the constant effect healing spell and used the Atronach spell absorption standing stone to recharge my magicka. Then I'd just tape the triggers on my Xbox controller down and go paint some miniatures.

Playing the Witcher 3 and ARK, enjoying both so far. Cant spend as much time on them and should probably just focus on one, but where is the fun in that? Besides, ARK is just like the Witcher but with bigger monsters and guns

It's a pretty good game! Have fun!
Oh, and here's a few tips:
- You won't be able to join the armies without fame. You can increase your fame by fighting in tournaments, doing work for lords, and winning battles. You could also join an army as mercenary work, but the nation will have to be looking for mercenaries in order for you to join.
- There are some pretty cool mods out there. I know there's one for Lord of the Rings ("The third age" or something like that), Game of Thrones ("A clash of kings"), and Warhammer Fantasy ("Warsword conquest")
- You'll need money for your armies. One rewarding but risky way to get money is to go to a nation's towns, and loot the whole thing. Keep in mind, the kingdom's lords will hunt you down if they spot you and early in the game, they WILL overpower you. Looting towns away from castles should decrease your chances of being chased by a lord.

There was a thread on that game here a while ago which went on for a good few pages, so you may want to look into that for tips and mods to look out for. If you CBA reading this waffle at least go download Open BRF .
With the mods they're a mixed bag. A lot of the supposed good ones feel either incomplete or are just an asset free for all thrown together. Notably though if you're into the multiplayer, which admittedly isn't fantastic, there's the mods North and South (a mod of the Napoleonic Wars mod which changes the setting to the American Civil War and is overall more polished than the actual DLC) and Full Invasion (which has players defending a location against the enemy as they play as various factions including 40K Imperial Guard, Roman Legions, WWI Troops, etc. ...Though you'll seriously only play something else other than the Japanese or Lord of the Rings fighting against villagers or Medieval Knights once in a blue moon. Its more casual than the other multiplayer mods, put easier to drop into given the randomness). I will say in regards to multiplayer, if you actually care about roleplaying or tactics go find a regiment (clan) to join. The public games are usually just a shambles of two sides slamming into each other and trolls, infrequently rounded up and crudely following the orders of a moderator.
But yes, as far as single player goes I'd recommend a few. Brytenwalda is what the Viking Wars DLC started out originally as. It lacks the story mode and some mechanics, but is more developed in terms of the armoury. Viking Wars is literally built upon that mod though, so if you play the mod first you'll notice a lot of similarities (as in particular quests are reused...).The Game of Thrones A Clash of Kings mod is fairly good. Of course it only follows the books up to the start of a Clash of Kings and carries on a few events from that and the following novels based on certain quests, so you may be at odds with it if you care about the canon too dearly. Overall though its definitely one of the more polished mods, with a load of additional story relevant quests for you to find . Gekokujo: The Japanese mod. Has a lot more polish and content than most, particularly in that it has appropriate animations for Katanas. Not much changed from Native from what I could see, but it didn't fail spectacularly either.
Mods I wouldn't recommend. Wait, hang on that list's too long. High rated mods which suck in my opinion. Perisno: the aforementioned "let's throw everything and anything together and call that a world" mod. Lots of things to do though, but the assets are all over the place (also its punishing for new players as there's far too many bandits and random 70 strong veteran groups who for no apparent reason want to kill you). The Third Age: Its a bit clunky, and has you spending a lot longer than Native recruiting troops (hope you have a fast horse to evade the enemy with...). Besides that the map's not super developed and it would have been nice had it expanded beyond the realms of the free peoples into Sauron's lands more. Anno Domini 1257: whilst not strictly a bad mod it falls foul of what a few mods, including Brytenwalda, do by having a massive map crowded with dozens of factions. The base game keeps it to a handful for a reason. One, so when you join a faction you aren't at war with literally thousands of enemy troops, and two, so you aren't spammed with update messages constantly (picture this. You receive an update for every siege, raided village or battle occurring on the map. Now picture hundreds of different armies and locations thrown together... You'll miss everything important in that mess). Warsword Conquest: the Warhammer one. Another throw random assets together and see what sticks mod. Balancing's a bit crap in this one too, and really its running on the setting over having much substance. 1860s Old America: Interesting setting. Mechanics are all right. Falls flat when it comes to the combat a bit though, in that the shooting has a 50/50 chance of actually working or your guys will just miss constantly. Its been updated since I last looked at it though, so it may be more polished. Special shout out to Requiem, the modern post-apocalyptic Zombie mod. Though it has potential I'd recommend you only download it for a quick look. Its an obvious Beta, with so much left unfinished. Like a lot of mods its probably abandoned now though.
Of course that's all just my opinion and IIRC all of the above mods can be found on Moddb. Importantly, and this is something that a lot of players don't seem to be aware of, download and learn how to use the Open BRF program if you intend to play as a female character. That allows you to open up the game's resources files and among other thing's has an option to convert armour which don't have a female mesh (which is a few in the vanilla game, even more so in the DLC and mods) to have one. Its something like right click the armour, go to select then "convert to female", though I'd hazard that this only works for the body, hands and feet slot. Don't try it on anything else or the program will crash. Though you can ctrl click or scroll click multiple items to make converting loads of sets easier. ...I say all this as if you do intend to play as a female character it'll become glaring around the time that she suddenly has a tiny head on the hulk's body the first time she puts on a set of armour just how much the developers/ modders give a damn about sexual equality (though hey the game does point out how odd it is to play a woman in the various settings...).
Spiel over.

The Witcher III is really fun, I haven't been too involved with the first two (I have them, but haven't really touched them) but I can get into the story and enjoy the mechanics of it.
As for Dark Souls II, it's not really my type of game, but I can see why others get into it.
Anyway, I've been making more progress on Blood Bowl, and have gotten far into Far Cry 4 and Arkham Knight, both of which I'm loving right now

I am near the end of chapter 2 (at least I assume so) when I decided to do the blasted things. After meeting a vampire that was talking to me in an unknown language I decided to poke around the web. Oh look, I gain that knowledge in a particular part of the main quest... reload, back to questing, back to Old Nua. So far, so good, I hope I'm good enough for the last 2 levels, 14 and 15.

Had my first major setback in warband. I decided to attack some nords to try and get in with the people they were at war with, and they absolutely destroyed me. They had maybe 5 more people than me, but with my random assortment of units, it did not go as planned.

Nords are scary business. Their huscarls can do a ton of damage before going down, which is exactly why I tend to join them before making my own nation. The main problem with Nords though is that they move really slowly, having no mounted units. IMO, it's worth it to show up late but become a living wrecking ball when you do arrive.
Of course, I ended up fighting a group of ragtag enemies and watched a huscarl get killed by a forest bandit

Nords are broken as feth. I once made an extremely OP Nord character with 20+ strength and 10+ in power strike (was a,very high level). With a poleaxe, I could kill just about any NPC in one hit. Two hits if they had a shield (first strike shattered the shield). Ditto for horses (armoured horses taking 2-3 hits).
The sole purpose of my troops was to form a shield wall and act as a roadblock for the enemy, so I had enough space to swing my poleaxe. I often got more kills than the rest of my army combined.

Me (Rogue), Aloth, Durance, Edér, Kana and Sagani.
Oh, and that final boss? feth you game. Just... feth you. Party instant killed in the first attack? This is Final Fantasy's levels of bullshitery.
Oh my! Colour me inspired then, I managed that particular figth once I reached lvl 12 so kudos to you. I played as a figther dedicated to caving skulls in with axes and great swords. I had a custom party for the most part but kept the mage that you meet early on in the first town. And yes.... I know its quite inspiring indeed but the loot it awesome

Screw fighting, I'm taking the easy way out. I managed to talk my way into convincing the blasted thing to let me help it so it can go free, let him rip the world to shreds for all I care
