After Ratius mentioned he was playing through DaS2, I loaded up my copy of Bloodborne for more souls fun .

Managed to down a boss, and explore some more of the cathedral ward.

Did my daily today, some random in a Content-capture, and a movie and golf for GTA:O

Marvel heroes, I finally got past Dr Sinister, only to find that the AIM facility is hard as Captain America, cause most of the mobs have ranged attacks, or have debuffs for CC. Star Spangled strike is good tho.I think I need to level up a couple to 35 at least more 40 tho. Pondering unlocking either Deadpool or the Human Torch.

Played some more BF4 today, and got myself a €20,- Steam Card, currently looking for what to buy.

Chipped away a bit at Hearthstone last night. Also put in some time in Street Fighter X Tekken. I'm finding that game to be one of the easier fighters that I've played in a while. Manged to go through arcade mode with a ryu/ken pairing without having to continue. It didn't even seem like the AI got any better as the matches progressed. But there was a sudden spike in activity with the last fight. Compared to the other matches, the AI with the last fight seemed to use more specials and supers. I may try again tonight and click it up a notch above medium.

Will be playing some Clash of Clans to ight too. I have 29 walls I want to upgrade before moving on to TH9.

Back into Star Wars: The Old Republic. They released Togruta as a playable race, and I had the need to make something who can set people on lightning, so a new Sith Sorcerer was born.

And, wow, is that an Easy Mode class. Walk into room, set everything on lightning, loot bodies.

Managed to get to 3-1 in my latest arena run before the servers went down for the tavern Brawl update/scheduled maintenance. It has no mustard or consecration but apparently running 2x Leper Gnomes in arena is OP

Going through some Hearthstone matches right now, trying to finish up my 'daily'. Totally want to get this over with so I can start in on Terraria.

Play it patiently, if you play it like a standard FPS you will get nowhere.

Its probably best to start of as a rifle class as you wont be taking up valuable class slots while you are still learning and riflemen are useful at long/medium range which is where you want to be anyway until you learn the maps. Once you know your way around a bit better best 'learning' class is the German elite assault with the STG 44 although they tend to be quite sought after slots so failing that something with an automatic rifle (engineers or elite riflemen) would suit a new player quite well. Stay away from Squad leaders, commanders and tank crew until you know how the game works and you have ideally practiced with them offline.

Gameplay wise always fight near to or even in the current objectives (pressing T will show you where they are) and don't try to play as a lone wolf, that kind of play style only really works if you know the map very well. A handy tip for telling friend from foe is that Germans (and Japanese if you are playing RS) run/sprint with their weapon in 1 hand while Soviets (and US) run/sprint holding their weapon in 2 hands.

RO2 can be extremely unforgiving; getting shot repeatedly by unseen enemies and spawn killed by arty doesn't make for a calm gaming experience but RO2 is a game that rewards skill, patience and teamwork. I haven't played any another multiplayer FPS with any regularity for about 2 years now.

Same goes for Verdun. They're very similar games I think. Besides map design and the proliferation of automatic weapons in ROS 2 of course.

Similar but I still prefer RO2, the class restrictions annoy me in Verdun. I do like the novel aiming mechanics though.

In fairness I haven't played it since the new year so things may well be better now.

So far I seem to be having the best luck with the machine gunner.

I find it quite dull but it is the best way to grind rank on servers full of bots

I have been avoiding bot heavy servers so far, doesnt seem as fun.

MG is the most important class. When the MGs are doing their work supported by Riflemen giving out ammo etc the MG can clear whole areas or stop an advance.

I am a huge fan of the MG personally. If no MG I go squad commander or rifle man.

Playing as MG forces you to make the most of cover as you will get shot at straight off the bat.

As for bots, I hate playing them too. I remember the first time my friend played without me he was playing against bots. I got a message saying he had killed over 100 players because everyone online was so dumb. He was pretty proud until I told him the game has bots then hit him.

They are good for training though and they aren't that bad if they have a few players. They are really good for grinding out weapon and class levels though.

Yeah the MG seems to work best when you get somewhere safe near an objective get behind cover then just shoot anything wearing the wrong uniform you can see.

Got into Aliens: Colonial Marines. Sure, other games are better but I'm enjoying my time, and besides some flaws that make in unfluffy (slaying xenomorphs by the dozen) I think it's not that bad.

Been playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. It has this weird gimmick for when you're not playing the main story where you centre the DS camera on a circular object, and it can open dungeons to go through. The size of the object on the camera even determines the dungeon's difficulty.

Cheap gimmick? Yes, but still pretty cool.

Actually, I need to install Colonial Marines... It seems like something that I would enjoy despite reviews and some folks' opinions (which I usually disregard; I'd rather feel that the fire burns by touching it myself).

Played some Terraria on the PC tonight. I'm enjoying the game moreso than it's Vita counter part... mouse and keyboard controls are just so much nicer. There is still plenty I need to figure out. It took me a bit to figure out why a door I had in my little hut wouldn't work.... turns out it was because there was a flower blocking it from opening ha.

A:CM is something of a guilty pleasure of mine, bad story and broken mechanics aside, the level design is lovely, Hadley's Hope in particular.

I've wrapped up Aliens: Isolation myself yesterday, still got four achievements left to unlock, still need to find a few of those Nostromo logs and a few name badges.

What the hell is with people and not following the mission. Just got dumped from a server because I wanted to WIN the mission, not screw around. War thunder irritates me sometimes.

I was really disappointed with Colonial Marines after having played Rebellion's "Aliens Versus Predators". I enjoyed that game immensely.


Been playing lots of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on my Xbox. Yeah, I play Call of Duty. Wanna fight about it?!

Im bouncing between Arkham Knight, MLB The Show, and Rory McIlroy's PGA Tour on my playstation

Armoured Warfare which isn't actually that bad. Its basically WoT but with modern vehicles and perhaps a semblance of balance, at the very least you get bonus exp for being in a low tier vehicle.

Played more Colonial Marines, and am loving the dialogue of the marines.

I played Magic Duels against Geek And Sundry last night on t'interwebs. It was my second game past the tutorial, I drew 3 monsters over the course of the game and died horribly :(

Duels is fun, although I prefer cards TBH. It's good for when you have nobody to play against.
