Played the required two games with Cho-Gall. He's a hoot to play. Dunno how he'd do competitively, but he destroyed the AI heroes we were playing against.

Be careful going into the Glowing Sea. I have a friend who plays with that mod, has a Titan, but still occasionally crashes when he goes into the Sea at the wrong time.

Sniper? Pfft. I play Engineer mostly and snipe with my missile turret.
Oh goody, I do love static targets who think they're safe behind a shield with a nice head sized slot in it
I also started playing, now that I have the RAM for it.
Is it me, or are Terran weapons really crappy.
I know they have increased clip sizes and high RoF, but they seem to deal no damage. I always die before the enemy.
I had more success with Vanu.
You might be having trouble with bullet drop and travel time, then- Vanu have no drop, and their glowy bullets make it easier to lead targets at some ranges. I'd suggest practicing in the VR with your weapon of choice, to get used to the drop and lead at certain ranges.
I think a lot of it also has to do with your playstyle. Some people like to play Eng or med but I'm too much of a k/d guy to do that for long, I played mostly heavy and was only OK at it, switched to Infiltrator and Im much happier. Nothing makes me feel greater than getting a 200+ metre parabolic head shot. I like spotting for other people as well and getting the teamwork going, as thats how you really "win" this game.
YMMV, switch around the classes and see what you enjoy doing
I picked up the Mass Effect collection and the Doom collection from the steam sale.
Meanwhile, I've made little progress in Starbound. I just got aegisalt armor/weapons. Haven't fought the boss for that tier though. I have made plans to colonize the actual ocean of an ocean planet, instead of the islands.

Yeah, the RTS part was interesting, but not that well done.
It was intended to be for the multiplayer (which the game appeared to have been designed for, due to the lack of the campaign's content), but as no one plays the MP, that plan quickly backfired.
They should have scrapped the MP and focused on the story. The ending was too abrupt. Like, I kill Doviculous and that's it? The empire is gone? What, are all the demons connected to him via a hive mind or something?

Did some Mass Effect. I'm loving the game, but am having a hard time deciding on who I should have on my party. I like Garrus, because he reminds me of a Kroot. I'm love Wrex, but he definitely is an issue with diplomacy. Of course, Tali is sweet as well. This is a hard decision.

Still on Fallout 4... just found my first "game breaking" moment....
Was given my quarters in the Institute (which, after having the game for a month, wasn't my first time doing this)... and I notice that the toilet paper roll is on wrong!!!

Even more evidence that the Institute is wrong.
Is it the normal way where the paper goes over or was it one of those under weirdos? God I can't stand those people.
I've been playing more Wargame: Red Dragon. It's been fun but currently I have no headphones so it'll be a pain to deal without sound.

Been alternating between Battlefront (my god, this game is awesome!) and Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (my god, this game is awesome!). Also plan to grab the new Arkham Knight DLC later.
I was reminded of the simple joys of Skyrim today. My Argonian was wandering about, and stumbled upon a mining village just as some Imperial soldiers did too. There was a fight I stayed out of, they died, and I happily went over to loot their arrows. So I'm rummaging through corpses when a little girl runs up and says something like "Oh, what did you pick up? I wish I saw that!"
Then she looks down and in a matter of fact tone says "Agh! Dead body." And wanders off.
I reinstalled wow and nabbed WoD when it was on sale. One month down into the second and I'm just not sure I'm feeling it. Don't have enough hours in the day to really do the stuff I'd like to anymore. I mean even one. Or two some days. But not really, young kids and playing wow (and having fun while doing so) doesn't work out for me. The garrison stuff is neat but that's all I have time for and it gets boring.
On the other hand I picked up the FFT:WotL android app/game/whatever. I really like the enhanced translation, the extra class, well basically the extra stuff. I think the PSP version had more meat what with the multiplayer stuff, but this was worth the cost to me. It does crash very occasionally but usually when navigating menus or after I save, only lost one actual battle from a crash in quite a few hours. They sped up the gameplay/dialog a tad too so it's not as quick as playing the PS1 version on an emulator with the benefit of the framerate acceleration, but fast enough.
Dark Knight was a pain but it's very fun for Ramza to finally have knightly sword skills.
Since I bought a new Tartarus to go with WoW, I'm looking into revisiting some of my older unplayed steam backlog, or possibly getting Magicka2. Couldn't do it with a keyboard but now that my default play style is open again.. may try it out.
Oh, here's a question for you folks... I recently acquired an Asus Transformer Book Chi or whatever, and was wondering if Steam (or where ever, really) had any games that translated well for play on a large tablet? I thought I might try FTL but I have a feeling I'd need a right click and get frustrated quickly. Same situation for BG/IWD/etc, it *feels* like you could tablet it as you can play with just a mouse, but readily available right click/ drag is too easy to take for granted. Anything on Steam that's readily point and click that a tablet can manage? I can just dock it and plug in peripherals but I was looking for something I could do to take advantage of the portability.

Aw man. I wish I could find the disc for that. Used to play it all the time- still have the box and the instruction manual/guide, but no disc.
About Planetside- Even in the same class, you can have drastically different playstyles- Infiltrators can either be long-range sniper/spotters, or can run around behind enemy lines wreaking havok with SMGs and mines, or be mid-distance snipers with some of the newer weapons they got. Engineers can be set up for either anti-infantry or anti-tank, with their turrets, or as 'brobox' deployers (ammo) or are often used as dedicated vehicle pilots. Medics can either use their heal guns, or have heal/revive grenades to do mass resurrections. And Heavy Assault can get some interesting differences in playstyle as well, especially Vanu. My Heavy has 4 different loadouts- close-range combat with a shotgun and frags, mid-range combat with the usual LMG, long-range anti-tank where I use the Lancer and LMG, and my close-range anti-tank/suppression build, with the Lasher to keep infantry heads down, and a combination of dumbfire rockets and anti-tank grenades to deal with vehicles.

In the game, the TP was going under the roll.... fething world breaking!!
Honestly, I think I only have the RR and minutemen endings before I shelve the game until DLC/Expansions come out.
Game-breaking. Completely unplayable 1 out of 10!
Not to mention that's immersion breaking. You mean to tell me the world is a nuclear wasteland populated by super mutants, children that make their own cities and somehow nobody could rebuild after hundreds of years? Fine. Toilet paper is still done going under instead of over? Impossible. I can't believe a future would be so bleak.

My brother got us both Vermintide, it's good fun so far.
However, Steam is fethed up something awful right now, pages at random turn to German or Russian, or the prizes of games turn to foreign currency like the British squiggly sign. What the feth Valve?!
