His pattern of returning alive after being declared dead occurred often enough during Cain's career that the Munitorum made a special ruling that Ciaphas Cain is to never be considered dead, despite evidence to the contrary.
Being a bit fan of the team's work, I picked up SureAI's latest mod/ game Enderal. I've played it for all of maybe a half hour and damn, its just as good as everything which came before it.
If you liked the old Gothic games, or hell Risen its right up your street. All you need is a copy of Skyrim to play it (though I'd recommend downloading quality of life mods like camera improvers/ quick loot, etc).
So my computer went out of action halfway through Rise of The Tomb Ra it set, which I was really enjoying.
I've got that of to get fixed now however eventually I went through computer game withdrawals at which point... I looked over at my TV and remembered 'oh I have an Xbox 360."
So, I've Arlene the last few days playing Halo Reach and, I've got to say, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall it's the best Halo game I've played - played then all except 5. It came in a bundle pack with Halo anniversary so that's next on the list while I wait for my computer to return (hopefully).
I'm already dreading the stupid library of stupidness
Playing Borderlands Pre-Sequel.
Jack was right, Moxxi and original hunters are hypocrites
Spoiler:
"You're a psychopath", says the woman who built a gladiatorial death arena to find her next husband, who threatens the player character with murder and could have destroyed Elpis with a black hole
Nisha's pretty scary insane though, and you can tell Jack went off the deep end after
Spoiler:
being betrayed by Moxxi and Lilith. I guess Pandora does that to people

Been playing the Third Age mod for Medival 2, after a few hours of gameplay I asked myself why I took such an long break from playing it in the first place.
That and facing of against some four thousand Uruk Hai is great fun as Elfs.
Playing Xcom 2 a lot .. I kind of screwed it up and let too much avatar progress happen before I realized I couldn't make contact with other areas till I had coms and power on my ship. I thought about starting over now that I know what to do, but I've already played a couple of days worth and don't want to start over.
I think I have it under control now.. it's just kind of annoying. I'm 3 points away from the avatar completion. I hit a black site and knock a few points off, and then they just get em back before I can get to the next one. I'm trying to make contact and then I get a "OMG do this mission now or else" mission pop up, and then I do that, and then all my good team members are injured and I have to wait to hit the black site, and then I'm too slow and they get another point.
I was also getting my butt kicked by those mega bosses with tons of HP that cheat and get to move after like every single action you take. When I find them I just roll back to the last auto save, then make sure my guys are spread way out.. seems to keep them from murderizing everyone with the cheaty AOE attacks. Damn aliens.
That is why I always go for massed high explsosives and a silly amount of heavy weaponry when you get past the first parts of the game. In Xcom 2 I have found that it never pays to be cautious, and also get upgraded armour for your teams. Alongside better weapons or just upgrades from the fondery they make a huge difference

Getting intel on a black site gives you the option to attack it even without owning the territory it's in, iirc.
Yeah if i remember if you get a skulljack with skullmining you can find an alien base but i think that's only hardest difficulty (be glad you aren't playing but i am). If you need to get an alien base hack then check around advent relays and sometimes you'll find one. Same goes for hacking terminals which never have ill consequences. In fact terminal mission are so good in lower difficulties that unless you really need a reward from somewhere else you will pick it every time. If you're lucky and improve your gremlins a little you can get hack rewards such as hack skill increase, avenger scanning time cut in half for 4 weeks (every time you scan goods that appear after winning missions basically reduced to half scanning time), alien base intel, alloys, and other similar things. They also have rewards such as intel, delay dark events by 2 weeks and supplies. Those are the best though.
If you really want intel find yourself some alien data caches and advent datapads from timed loot drops. So basically be careful about blowing enemies up till you find one and then go crazy blowing things up. Seriously those things pack a good ton of data and if you have a good amount of scientists it's a good chunk of intel each time which is good for black market, territory expansion and finding alien bases if you got a facility lead.

When you guys talk xcom 2 i gotta laugh a bit. I've been playing hardest difficulty on ironman and somehow made it to the end of july so far with about 4 avatar progress away from complete. Killed the codex, destroyed black site and took down an alien base and each had 2 bars of avatar progress from them. Honestly i don't think i would've made it as far this time without a friend's 'alien hunter' DLC he gave me. Those early weapons were a god-send esp. given my current build of armor first with tier 2 gear.

Played some Resident Evil HD last night, because my guest wanted to play it. But she got bored pretty fast of the drawn out opening moments, so tossed the controller to me and told me to get gak started instead.
Played as Jill, we got until well, where we got the shotgun before calling it a day.
the original Vault Hunters being hypocrites. The whole "gonna blow up the Eye because of intuition" thing was also really dumb (though it's a video game with video game rules, so the black hole was probably not going to endanger Elpis or Pandora). But then again, I played through as Claptrap, so maybe I shouldn't judge anyone's sanity.

Claptrap's explosive tree forces you to use a lot of Torgue, and his middle tree is best used in 2 player, but he has a lot of fun skills (maniacal laughter is really good for a first row skill) and his action skill never gets old. (BTW one of his skills along the line gives you the "torgue fiesta" mode. Never take that skill if you're playing with a team, it will probably kill them by accident.)

Currently waiting for the new Deus Ex game to finish downloading.
It's not enough these days to just "pre-load" the game on Steam. I had the game pre-loaded before launch, but I still can't play. Instead, I've been forced to sit through a lengthy period of time where Steam was doing something (I've no clue what) to the game files that didn't involve downloading anything, followed by a multi-GB download after the game finished messing around with the hard drive.
You would think that the developers could take care of this crap *before* the game goes live. That's what the pre-load is for, after all - to get all of the loading out of the way so that I can sit down and PLAY MY NEW GAME when I get home from work.

I'm still jealous though. I don't have enough RAM to run Deus Ex: MD. I can dream what it'd be like to play it i suppose. That game just seems so sexy. I need it so bad. HR was a great game. Dunno what the previous titles were like but i hear the original is still the best oddly.

Still getting trolled in xcom 2. It's the avatar progress that killed me in my last good game. I made it to december 11th or so on Legend Ironman and killed all alien rulers (don't have spark content yet) and just couldn't lower the avatar progress in time. It's a shame as i was still holding in there too.

Same happened with Fallout 4. Bought the physical copy as I have very variable internet access. Stuck it in the drive and installed it, only to have it refuse to take anything from the disc, but to start downloading the newest version from on-line. I believe that there was about 5GB on the disk, and a further (23?)GB on-line. Why bother with physical media at all if you are not going to supply the whole program on it? I would have put up with swapping multiple discs around over waiting for over 3 DAYS to get to play the game I paid for!
"Ask ten different scientists about the environment, population control, genetics, and you'll get ten different answers, but there's one thing every scientist on the planet agrees on. Whether it happens in a hundred years or a thousand years or a million years, eventually our Sun will grow cold and go out. When that happens, it won't just take us. It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." Going back to the Elder Scrolls Online now that I have a new PC which can run it (they changed the min specs four months back which made Intel integrated cards more than a few years old obsolete).
This'll be a day of playing catch up with all my automated messages/ relearning the meta. I'm not too bothered about my high level tank, but I was putting a lot of time into min maxing a DPS rogue, so it'll probably take me weeks to get back to where I was with them stats wise (with a lv 43 nightblade armed with daggers and a load of CP I was doing the highest DPS in a group of 20 people in the IC dungeons, woo anim cancelling).
Besides that Fallout 4, because again new PC. No comments on that, its good, but I just don't have the time to play it right now if I want ESO and the time to finish a whole gaming board too. :(
