After an unplanned break I present to you my newest piece.
Finally I had the time to paint my second Predator. These badasses are my working horses. They are the backbone of every list I build. It's a shame that I haven't painted them earlier.

I forgot to add the dirt to the exhausts before taking the pictures though.

I really appreciate your compliment, and it seems like my style of painting matches your taste in miniatures.
But I do not see myself near the standards of Eavy Metal by any means. I'm not using any fancy techniques, and my painting is very sloppy in places.

I have to say, that this is not what I'm usually playing, but it's my first fully painted 1750 points army that has no ridiculous composition, and makes at least some sense. ^^

Had a lot of stuff to do recently so I haven't been able to do much painting.
But today I found the time to finish my Vindicator.

It has been sitting on my shelf for quite some time now, because I rarely use it.
But with the rule changes of 6th edition I might field him more often.

He can be fielded as a Rhino too as you can see.

But working on my master thesis leaves close to no time for painting stuff, since I find it hard to concentrate after working in the laboratory all day.
Anyhow...
I grew a pair, sat down and painted my librarian today.

He was sitting on my shelf for too long but now he is ready for action.
I can equip him with a jetpack if I need too.

Since converting does not exhaust me at all I've done a lot of it instead of painting.

I built a 2000 points Dark Eldar ármy and started this squad of Sternguard.

They will all get the fancy bolters you can see on the first guy.

Today I'm here to present you my version of Sanguinius.
It's 95% finished. Some finishing touches are still needed, but overall I'm pretty happy, especially since I'm not that experienced using green stuff.

The idea is not new, and the credit for using the Necron nightbringer model as a base goes to at least three other guys.
But the idea impressed me so much that I needed to have my own.
Paid about 50 $ for the nightbringer and the wings. A hefty price tag for a single model, but compared to the new Angron model of FW it's a bargain. ^^

So...
Tell me what you think before I slap some paint on it.

Sanguinius himself!!!

This is for sure my most expensive single miniature, and the one with the most difficult conversion work.

I'll have to touch up his wings, but in general I'm happy how he turned out.

Oh it's a hood on his head, that wasn't clear from the WIP pics.

Nice job, I'd love to have a Sanguinius model, but I think I'll be lazy and wait for FW to release one.
