So I guess you could say I finally jumped on the GK bandwagon and started playing around with GK's.
I made a 500 pt list containing two squads of Purifiers and Crowe, but I wanted them to look different from all the other Purifier lists out there.
From the fluff the Purifiers are an elite brotherhood who are the purest of the GK's that guard Mt. Anarch beneath the fortress monastery on Titan. Here is how I envisioned them...
Crowe
Knights of the Flame
Halberds
Psycannons
Let me know what you guys think, I'll update with a painted test model next.

I see what you're doing with the whole robe idea and while it's been pulled off quite well, it's not my cup of tea sadly.
It kind of sets them apart from other Grey Knights (which is no doubt what you wanted to do) but it's lost the coherent feel to the army, almost like it's two different marine armies mashed together.
Again, this is all my opinion, don't let me stop what will most likely be a fantastic conversion - judging from those pictures.
Iranna.

Thanks for the comments so far!
I'm having trouble deciding between two robe variations... so I'll leave it up to you guys!

The orangeish one on the right is more striking, but the one on the left is more natural. Very nice either way. My vote goes to the orange just for a different idea (since we're going full blow different look here...)
And though while they look like Dark Angels, with a paint job they should look better. Perhaps changing the heads to Grey Knight helmets and green stuffing a hood on? Crowe look epic. Can't wait to see more.

The correct question is, would I be enjoying this hobby if I did this?
The correct audience is you. |

Thanks for the comment and advice!
It's actually funny you mention Crowe, because I JUST finished him today...

Hurray for Spring Break ... College has been brutal this semester, and coupled with moving into a new apartment, I've had very little time to paint.
Here are some Purifiers with finished force weapons and shoulder pads from Custom Mini's.
