That motorcycle looks better than the Aragoto that everyone (including myself) constantly drools over. Now it's in a faction that I use.

Actually nothing related to gameplay. It's just a production&design note to make clear the colored area must be casted as a single piece.

Wow, might be odd, but that redesign of McNeill is so much better now that they covered her up completely.

The camo styled McNeill is almost enough to make me start Ariadna.

Concept art is gorgeous as always, but let's wait for the actual models to come out.

I was psyched for Cordelia, but when her first concept art came out I also was weary that the actual model might not be as great as the art piece. Unfortunately, that was the case.

To be fair:
Cordelia as a model is not that bad. It's just the head is off.

The concept for Uxía is great, but the Covert Action version is unbeliavable. Great news we are having both versions done. And the detail in the Covert Action version of displaying two assault pistols makes me think the she could have a totally badass dual wielding pose. And also: if when a mini shots 2 light shotguns (burst 2) it gets burst 3... would dual wielding assault pistols (burst 4) have a burst of... 6???

Also, the Tohaa armored guys have viral rifles in the concepts. So I think it makes the Starter pack 4 combi rifles and 2 Viral rifles. Pretty damn good.

The one with Cyrillic writing is for Russariadna.

I think the bottom one might be for Varuna/"Blue Sea".

"Татарский казачье войско", pronounced something like "Tatarskii kozachian voiske"* is, according to google translate, "Tartar Cossack Army" .
That's assuming that the "ъ" is actually a "ь".

Are these Book3 Sectorials?

I think Greek ALEPH is the only sectorial in book 3, so book 4 I guess.

Some of the sectorials are Tunguska, Svalarheima (PanOceania), Svalarheima (Yu Jing), Haqqislam Caliphate, USAriadna and Kazak, but there are more.

And Raicho is already sculpted and will be out probably in November.

Wasn't there some mention of the Mercs becoming a viable force all their own in book 4? Other than that I love everything I see!

Yup, that settled it... going Aleph. Those last few concept drawings sold it for me.

That's an interesting concept. Rather than letting Mercs ever get their own collective faction-army, they simply get a sectorial or two; it'll let Mercs be mercs.

As mentioned already, I though that the Greek Sectorial for Aleph was the only new one in Book 3.

If so, this is one hell of an advanced preview for all of those other Sectorials!

Just settle down with a good couple of books (War and Peace, Moby Dick and a couple of encyclopedias?) because we're in for a long wait until they are officially released!

See, I'm thinking that 4th book isn't so far off. Not like Human Sphere was 2 years, more like next year.

The 3rd book is mainly the missions and a few minis per faction. I think they can clear those minis within the year. They already have the spec ops done and shown, Tohaa done and shown, and others seem to be ready as well.

And Carlos said its going to be 10 or less models per faction this book. The sectorial markers for book 4 are already in use on some packaging as well (Antipodes have Russian, Scarface has mercs, and monks have some new YJ).

Ahh... but the thing is, this book is like twice the size they planned on and pushed back 8-10 month. The unit profile being a big part of that, so 2 years isn't that odd. Even more so when the 4th book was rumored as the fill out the current sectorial book, and they did that with this one instead.

Well you might be surprised on how far ahead CB plans, many of the units you see or will see have been fleshed out before The first book hit the selves, of LGS.
