Ehhhhh.

I can't see them releasing Paradiso without the Tohaa Starter box, at the very least.

Remember that the Paradiso book comes out at the very end of the month, essentially making it an October release as most stores won't even see it until early/mid October in all likelihood.

Another thing is they've suggested that the Corax is coming out in October/Novemberish as it was delayed for whatever reason.

Hopefully it's not a case of similarities to that gorgeous Vindicare assassin done in Inquisitor scale. The thing kept tearing up the molds and was just dropped from the range entirely in the end.

Just to clarify this statement (which is partially incorrect)...

Bostria (one of the designers for Infinity) posted a thread on the official Infinity forum. Tabletop Nation is hosting the first official campaign tournament on October 27th. The book is due out at the end of September.

With the "Infinity Campaign: Paradiso" Book already published, Some members of the CB staff will host the event, teach you about the new rules and experience system all while you play the first chapter of the campaign: "Incursion in the NiemandsZone".

Players will face each other in excellent tables filled with Micro Art Studio terrain specially designed for the campaign. They will learn how the game is now played, they will upgrade their armies and Spec-Ops and behold the darkest secrets of the new book.

Although there is no charge for this event, there is a limit of 16 places for participation in the actual campaign itself, for which you MUST register. You can do this by sending an email to eventsguru@tabletopnation.com

The prize for the winners will be a "Scarface & Cordelia, Mercenary Armored Team" box.

So, finally, an event where you can meet Infinity players near London Area, for learning how the campaign rules work, for maybe creating a new Infinity community and have the chance of keep on playing the whole campaign.
A true opportunity to get deep in the new "Infinity Campaign: Paradiso" book.

If I had to hazard a guess, Camo might not be the "unique" aspect for it.

Oh god, I just had a heck of a thought.

The Wildcats are going to be Linkable, with Engineer options and are Light Infantry...I wonder if the Geckos are going to be the Nomad equivalent of the Sphinx?

They're light due to their weaponry, BS and Movement (4-4)

I wish I could say more, but that's all I can remember. Someone took some spy pictures, let's wait and see if they have the balls to upload them XD

EDIT: I've been told by someone who was also there that they were:

- 10-10 movement, BS 13, ARM 5, 3 structure points (can't remember the rest)

- 2 Combi Rifle, Chain Colt (chain rifle but with small teardrop template) panzerfaust---> 54 points 1 SWC
- MK12, Chain Colt, Blitzen---> 55 points 1,5 SWC

Corrected the MOV value since it was in centimeters, so that nobody freaks out thinking about a 10 inches movement TAG xD

Love them already.

A small info here on how CB works on their models.

The first look what a faction needs, then make the stats and balance the unit, then they make the background for it and finally they design the concept art.

From the profile sheet itself, not the design. With the AVA in vanilla (i think it's 2) and Corregidor (4, that's for sure) and the other stats such as PH and that stuff

Might be too early to tell.

So, I noticed something last night going through the main rulebook. There's an unidentified, seemingly manned T.A.G. with relatively "light" weaponry on the "Would you like to know more?" page right above the "Orakl" title and to the left of the Tunguska Spektr.

Might be our first shot of the Gecko, or at least an idea of what it would look like given that the brains behind Infinity like to drop hints and have an established "Plan" for the universe.

This is something the community in general has said multiple time that it hopes not to make it in the game as a model.

With some luck it will be forgotten and left alone, that been said it has its fans, not me though (obviously).

I like it for a "manned" T.A.G. design, as they seem to be less humanoid and more practical in designs.

It doesn't look very Ariadna though. Doesn't look any of the existing factions, but I could see it for a Merc company of some kind which prefers manned, unhackable T.A.G.s

Bear in mind, I'm not being contrary just to be contrary here. I like odd mech designs such as the one I posted.

I've been reading the official forums and people is discussing a lot about a rumour...

There is no official answer yet, but it seems that in the new book, the Yu Jing character Ko Dali is sepsitorized and becomes a troop for the Combined Army.
Also, this new troop profile invalidates the previous existing troop profile.

KO DALI Combi Rifle + Light Flamethrower / Pistol, Shock CCW (35)
MOV:4-2 CC:15 BS:14 PH:13 WIP:14 ARM:2 BTS:0 W:1
Regular, Not Impetuous, Cube

For me this sounds soooo Kerrigan from Starcraft.

Also a great way of getting rid of old sculpts/characters that are perhaps not as popular any more

Pretty cool they are progressing the story of the game as well, although it's something they will have to be careful with.
