I hadn't seen the tracker. It doesn't make much sense, if I click the link the first products are all Ariadnean. The small Top 5 list is extrange too, 2 Nomad minis, 1 Ec, and 2 tournament items. I'm not sure if it's working.

There is a small "Top sellers" list on the right side, it takes you to the linked URL.

Now that we actually have a "sale tracker" on their webstore, I have yet to see the old Daktari be on there.

I didn't know about this!

Got a link and/or some data to share?

Here is a link to their "Top Sellers". It is set to show 50 entries per page, sorted by name since you cannot sort by the number of times that entry has been sold. It includes their "Historical" lines and Micro Arts stuff, etc. Basically anything which Corvus Belli sells through their webstore, it shows up here.

There are 450 unique entries. The "Catgirl" is not one of them.

As a fun note though?

The "Jumping Wulver" is.

It's working. Two days ago, the Reverend Custodiers was the Gao-Rael Sniper Rifle.

The reason the first products are Ariadnan is it automatically sorts in A-Z order.

The Ariadna Starter is not available. I wonder if that means anything, or if it's just a stockage issue.

Edit: Shouldn't the list be ordered by sales? It just looks like a big list of (almost) all the items, there are some historical minis too. Also, it doesn't say if that sales are global, since the products were available, or if it's top for a month back, a year, this week...

Probably just a stockage issue.

Especially considering it is one of their "Top Sellers".

the CA Ko-Dali has a new sculpt coming? Cool!

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.

Much like you clamoring for Chasseur models that will be eventually released. The only difference here is that you want one thing and other people want something else.

There is a HUGE difference.

You know why?
The basic Chasseur model exists.

He is used for 3 of the 5 Chasseur profiles. Yet you cannot buy him outside of the Ariadna starter box, which as I've said before is absolutely useless to someone wanting to do a Merovingian force.

The "Wulver girls" clamor is for one specific profile to be made one specific gender. All I bloody want is a model released in a format which is actually bloody sensible rather than forcing me to buy an entire starter box for one model or having to resort to buying one off someone else.

Oh, and just for fun?
It was apparently more important for a "Chasseur female" which can be used for exactly one Chasseur profile to be released than one which could be used for 3.

Edit note:
I can say with 100% certainty that the lack of a "standard" Chasseur model is actively keeping me from starting Merovingia. The only thing, at this point, which would get me doing so would be a Briscards box set with Marksman Rifles as standard.

You have your reasons for wanting one model, they have their reasons for wanting another. Your reasons aren't better or more valid than theirs, just more relevant to you. They have as much right to want the model they want as you do. You are in fact doing the exact same thing.

If you cannot see the difference between "repackaging a model into a blister format as well as in a starter box" and "sculpting an entirely new model" and why one is a far more reasonable request than the other, I think we cannot have a productive discussion.

Kanluwen, I'm not sure if you've noticed, but the last two pages of this thread have been you whining about the fact that another faction is getting a model that people want, while you don't get a model that you want. It isn't very inspiring reading. If you want a Chasseur model, email CB and let them know. Don't rain on someone else's parade out of spite.

Going back to the Qapu Khalqi issue, I can see that vanilla Haqqislam isn't looking all that hot right not - you lose out on Ahl Fassed, Assassins and the idiot spider tank for going Qapu Khalqi, which isn't all that big a deal. I'd disagree about the assassins though, as I think that the two are sufficiently different in terms of flavour and tactics. From what I can tell, being nowhere near an expert at this, the Hassassin are the 'special rules' element of Haqqislam, having all sorts of crazy camo, impersonator and viral stuff going on, while QK are actually fairly straight forward - get your LI/MI linked murderers of choice, hide or link your Hafza, go mad. Aren't we meant to be getting the Bedouin/crazy stuff sectorial next, with the Kum, Khawarjis and whatnot?

Perhaps it is just that since August or so we've had Kaplans and Sekban both bubble up into view, on top of the Druze box already available. So even though it is only two models, it feels like a lot more because we're all expecting two boxed sets to land. I kinda wish that they'd done a Druze Spitfire rather than the Kaplan, but I get that the kaplan one is also a better proxy for the all-important engineer model, so there is that.

Why would that be disappointing, actually?

I mean, yeah, I rather like Qapu Khalqi, but, the assassin sectorial is plenty nice enough too, as is 'generic' Haqqislam!

That's actually a good question. Qapu Khalqi is neat, I think.

I can get Alkasyn's frustration though. Qapu Khalqi is pretty fleshed out for what they have especially considering that they can also add in Kaplan Tactical Services, Druze Shock Teams, and now Scarface and Cordelia.

That's exactly what I mean. QK has so many options right now, it just makes me sad when I open the Bahram sectorial in Devilteam and I'm not even able to scroll right to chose more profiles.

It's that , but also something more. QK do not lack in terms of Special Rules - see Haris, for example. The Sekban is also in the QK sectorial, while Bahram got a yet another Hassasin profile, this time a dedicated Hacker. I like the Hassasin, otherwise I wouldn't have started with them, but after you've taken your mandatory FIdays and Ragiks they seem pretty bland.

I've let them know. I've let them know for years about it.
And you know what they said each time?

"We have no plans to release that particular model outside of the Ariadna starter box."

That particular model though is just my go to example about the whole situation. They seemingly would rather do an inside joke with the Spanish forum posters when they can get away with it rather than release a model which is actively needed/sought after by players. The Wulver "Girls" are an example of this, as is Phoenix's loadout(a Myrmidon with Missile Launcher who "puts Achilles in his place").
They have the time and inclination to make a 4 model box for a unit which has 3 profiles and a max AVA of 4(the Caledonian Highlanders), including resculpting (and discontinuing!) one existing profile and sculpting the remaining profile for a boxed set, but they cannot up production on a particular and have a card printed for a blister format of a model which is used for 3 profiles and has an AVA of 4 in the MRRF Sectorial?

There are quite a few more examples I could use, but the Chasseur is the one which has stuck in my mind as it was one of the silliest things when they released the ADHL profile for the Chasseur because people "wanted one that looked like the art".
Don't rain on someone else's parade out of spite.

Tell that to all the people continually posting "You just got X for Corregidor, try being like the Morat Aggression Force players who got NOTHING this year besides the Raicho!" over on the Official Infinity Forums whenever myself or anyone post about the missing Corregidor Starter Box.

I will certainly say that I did go a bit off the rails in "Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!" mode though. It's why I stepped back and took a break from posting past my final post last night.

Ah Mondays. Sometimes it's nice to come in to work and catch up on stuff I missed!

The Sekban is great looking. I look forward to seeing the other weapon versions.

People already know how I feel about boxed sets. I still haven't gotten the new Monks because I can't afford them! I can buy one blister but I can't buy a boxed set.

In my opinion after so many years campaigning about it, having the guts to go at tournaments in kilt and organizing various events for the WGN movement support, including art, fan fiction and fun sculpts, Yes, he is worthy to see wulver girls come into existence.

The box set is logical, most people didn't like the vaulting Wulver, it was an old sculpt anyway and the Wulver link team is a potent link for the Caledonian army, turn 3 SKU to 1 and revamp all sculpts too.

The Phoenix is again in my opinion a worthy homage, if nothing else Thrasimedes has make both communities laugh for years.

The chasseur probably falls in the exclusive sculpt of the box deal, all boxes minus JSA have one such model.

wohaaa... within 24 hours you generated 2 pages ... anyway, if we will see wulver box I will be more than happy and those guys/grrls will be first on my shopping list. In fact there is only one wulver which I field. Jumping guy is awful and I avoid using him. So, making box makes a lot of sense for me!!! All in all they 2 wound unit, which makes them really strong fire team - especially with MK.12 rifles.

So, as dedicated Caledenion player and veteran player of many tournaments I can say that wulver linked team will be instantly in my army list as soon as such box will be released (if ever). For me they are much more interesting than Scot Guard. Also Wulvers wear kilts which is for me one of the best trade marks of Caledonians. After reading Scot Guards background I think that they will be not wearing kilts. So, as painter and player I will give all my money for wulver box!!! They really deserve it. It is awesome assault unit.

The caledonian models do amuse me - a fair few players here in Scotland seem to love them and regard them as comedy gold. And then paint irn-bru cans onto their bases.

Kanluwen, I can see the frustration if they've openly said that they won't bother doing a certain model. This is one of the things that people complain at GW for (like, why can't I buy a model of the Hierotitan? It rocks in game...). I suspect that their reasoning is that the model isn't going to sell well, since it is in the boxed set. That said, it wouldn't seem that hard to bring out a blister with two dudes in, one of whom was generic enough to cover the same profile as the Chasseur in the boxed set.

I wouldnt mind him at all if he was standing upright....its the pose that ruins him for me....

Is the hand on the bollard sculpted on or glued, does anyone know? Either way it wouldnt be too hard to get him standing with his hand on the bollard instead of jumping over it (i think anyway)...

the hand is on the road barricade, you can make him stand upright, but leaving the barricade needs some surgical procedure.

If you choose to bend him, do it with extreme caution.
