Aleph has more unity in their overall look than the other factions I think. Makes them attractive to me, since I tend to think in terms of units.

I am thinking that my next order will have to include a Sekban. Even though I don't really need another link team (as I own the Druze and the Odalisques already), but daym that model is fine.

Just a shame that I have to buy friggin baggage remotes for Paradiso, rather than more murderers with guns. Sadpanda

feth that Sekban looks more awesome every time I see it. Same chunky, heavy look that the Spec Ops guy had without looking fat like the Fatty Phalanx, with a HML and that 'just deal with it' mosey away from an explosion pose.

Totally makes up for last months Haqqislam 'offering'.

Gathering the Informations.

Just as a refresher we have two "confirmed" releases for January:

Ariadna: 9th Caledonian Wulver Grenadiers Boxed Set including four Wulvers.
ALEPH: Steel Phalanx Diomedes, Ekdromoi character with a Mark 12.

We're pretty much guaranteed to have a Tohaa release as they are releasing as much Tohaa stuff as possible.
I'm thinking we'll get a Gao-Rael with Combi Rifle and Adhesive Launcher blister, which would add another Gao-Rael option and another Lieutenant option as well.

Edit note: I put "confirmed" as this is by no way definitive, but it has some relative teeth to it as a rumor.

I know you're lining up for that Wulver box set Kan - two new female sculpts is too much for you to resist!

If they're actually good it might tip the scale for me to go Ariadna for my second army. For now I'm debating whether to go PanO (Jotum!) or Ariadna.

Since I was so loud about the Riot release I suppose I should weigh in for the sake of completeness.

In short, I won't be picking the box up, and I thus won't be pursuing Nomads ... at least for a while longer What killed it for me by far is the boring as gak poses. I love the sculpt design - including fibro-muscles and cyber-nippes - but four (make that five) chicks standing there gesturing (or just holding their IMO undersized guns FFS) does not scream 'hyper-dynamic equipped, rage-filled assault maniacs' in any way shape or form. I have the spitfire grrl and love her, however I required a lot more variety to make my dreams of a riot-themed force a reality. Sorry CB, you lost me this time.

However this does mean I'll be moving ahead with my myrmidon-themed Homeridae Aleph

I too am waiting for the inevitable barrage aimed at those poor little chibi Wulver girls, who will be helpless to resist in their little denim crop-tops and high-heels

It's not the female sculpts.

It's the inevitable cheesecake sculpts cluttering the Ariadna range up even further.

Mark my words.

You are not wrong in already describing them.

My only solace is that the Corregidor Jurisdictional Force might come out in January.

I'm hoping that at least one of the Wildcats in the Corregidor box set is a female with Combat High Heeled Boots!

If M. Night Shyamalan is the mastermind of CB, it would turn out that Wildcat girls are actual catgirls.

And Kan would sue CB for such monstrosity.

If life was a Shyamalan movie, Kan would secretly embrace this turn of events because he's actually a cat-man himself.

Looking at them again I really agree with this. Unfortunately it's becoming a bit of a trend with the unit boxes, which is a huge shame IMO.
Rackham started doing the same thing with their metal Ragnarok units and, while they were still decent sculpts, they really didn't have the impact of the stuff that wasn't sculpted with mild customability in mind. It's an unfortunate compromise.

If I was going to try to create the Riot Grrls I'd like to see I'd probably have to combine their set with the Posthuman box.

Having finally released the Raicho, last unit from the original book, and not having too much units from the new book, it's the right time for them to release/revamp starters and support boxes. And linked team boxes, as they are doing.

Wow, that's the top heresy, like trying to kitbash the Emprah from a box of Chaos Terminators

Or, you know, missing profiles. It's kind of annoying when some profiles have multiple models (for example, Odalisques with Contender and SMG have two models in the box, or the Daktari (though I don't begrudge people not wanting the cat girl)), while some profiles get neglected (for example, the Al Hawwa with Rifle, still from book 1).

Yes, of course, I was thinking about the boxed releases. They still have some gaps to cover, and luckily they can be covered in blisters, so that gives more chances per month.

When are we likely to hear about Jan releases? End of the month?

Can't be doing with that Corr starter arriving, not even started on my other stuff yet and I know I won't be able to resist............

Yes, we usually hear about the current month's releases in the 3rd or 4th week of that month.

So in January, we won't get the full releases until the 22nd or maybe not even until the 29th.

Which means, of course, that many places in the world won't see January's releases until well into February...

Intruder Sniper arm for the right arm.
Legs look to be cut and reposed.
Left arm looks to be either the male Interventor Hacker or Alguacile Hacker.

Are there any Human Sphere units (whole units, not profiles) that dont have models yet?

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.
